The 13 Gotei needed to learn from squad 0. It is given that squad 0 is stronger than the entire 13 Gotei put together but despite this, their fighting style greatly differs. Gotei 13 enjoys fighting one-on-one battles and just displays rage and being who the strongest is, while squad 0 fights in synchrony as if each member depends on each other despite them being stronger.

They sealed their true powers away and connected themselves to each other. That means if they meet an opponent they can’t beat at base they can all collective decide to let one squad zero maybe release their power alone to avoid causing damage to the 3 worlds as much.

Easier to fight in synchrony when you're just 5 members vs hundreds. Also, squad zero members only get added. They don't change captains like the gotei 13.

@@yum1685no I meant the reason they fight together is because gotei 13 aren’t empowered by the soul king so there powers aren’t as great as squad zero. Squad zero members don’t have access to 90 percent of their power because going bankai is a 10 times booster. So they are work together in base as a way to make up for sealing away their powers.

Truly a shame that none of this works, but im glad they did justice to Squad 0.

Of course. The anime states that senjumaru alone bankai is able to affect all 3 worlds while Yamamoto affected the soul society only. And senjumaru isn’t even the strongest maybe it’s nimaiya. If all 4 were to release their bankai together then they would probably cause a lot of unintentional destruction to the 3 worlds. That’s why they sealed their powers together and when a threat is strong enough to beat all four of them one of them can release their bankai.

I'm kind of baffled people would call it non-canon since it wasn't in the manga The biggest criticism of Bleach's manga, particularly nearing the final arc, was that it was rushed. The reason is simple and unfortunate, Kubo's health wasn't doing that well and he still had a deadline to meet for each chapter. So the "rushed" execution of the manga comes down to that... ...but with the manga getting a well-adapted anime spearheaded by the man himself, I'm willing to bet that by or after the next Cour is when more and more changes will start happening Hell, I don't even know if the final battles will be the same as they were in the manga

I love this fight so much better than the one in the manga. In the manga, squad zero gets killed immediately after reviving. After reviving, Lille (X) kills Nimaiya, then Pernida (C) destroys the cage and presumedly kills the others. It was a much more lackluster performance from the squad zero. But I would predict that they will get free from Shutara's bankai because of one of the Royal Guards abilities that isn't show until later on in the manga. This is definitely a better way of showing off the squad zero. I only wish we could see the other's bankai too.

Senjumaru having such a disgusting Bankai kinda breaks the Canon a little. How exactly are Squad Zero members powerful enough to only allow one of them to use their powers at a time, yet their leader Ichibei can freely use his Bankai without any worries? Also, with the exception of Ichibei Squad Zero are former captains which were promoted for their novelties, not power, so them being so strong kind of doesn't fit the mold. They should be powerful, no doubt, but their humiliating defeat in the manga was a better end to them. The anime meanwhile needs to fill in how they are defeated after Senjumaru seemingly stomped the SS.

Guys... i might be overthinking but Senjumaru bankai is absolutly wicked... She is called "weaver of fate" and you can see what it meant. Every one of schutzstaffel future is kinda foretold - or what I understood - weaved into SPOILERS!!! Lille Barro got defeated by himself for just being a godlike creature - thus he could be slain by Nanao zanpaktou Pernida is getting buried by black sand - that literally Kurotsushi ( kuro black tsuchi soil/dirt) Askin is wierd for me - he made coffin for himself (?) Gerrard frozen by Hitsugaya ( i assume there will be more in anime here) Haschwalth there is connetion with his fight with BazzB (same here ^^) And Ishida - only one whom death wasn't "foretold" in this bankai Squad 0 members as it was said in CANT FEAR YOUR OWN WORLD novel are godlike and immortal creatures, they will exist as long soul king exists. I understand that Senjumarus bankai is set up for all fates of schutzstaffel. Squad 0 will lose this batlle , but they also just won the war. One more thing. In perspective how powerfull is Senjumarus bankai is. Every Squad 0 member bankai is able to completely destroy 3 world (humans, hueco mundo and seireitei), while Yama's bankai could "only" seireitei. I see this bankai as long-term event, she set up all future fights here. (i just notice - it explains why Nanao will fight Lille, she have the only one weapon that could defeat him!) Senjumaru's design is based on the weaver god too so it made sense that cursing is her true power. Smart decision from squad zero to not directly win. Truthfully, not everything should be won with destruction.

Her way of speaking and choice of words is traditional Japanese speaking style. Her words are Japanese tanka poem style. Her prosthetic arm is a Japanese traditional machine called Karakuri.

I realize now why Senjumaru is the one that was left alive. It's because she can just restore everyone when the battle is over, as is evident by her patching the hole in her squadmate. In Manga, it didn't go quite as planned. Because of that small detail, I foresee the story being told much differently in the Anime from here onwards, similarly to Dragonball Super being majorly different to the manga counterpart. Seems Shonen Jump learned they can just rewrite the story if they want to.

It's anti-plot armor if anything. Pernida, Askin and Uryu shouldn't be trapped by her Bankai. Pernida should evolve beyond anything, Askin should become immune to her reiatsu/reishi, and Uryu should reverse being trapped by the Bankai onto Shutara. Only Lille, Gerard and Haschwalth make sense and that's because Lille's eyes are shut, Haschwalth lost his sheild, and Gerard suffered no physical damage. Even before the Bankai, the instant the Schutzstaffel were able to use their abilities, the 0 division was screwed. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Cour 3 begins with them popping out of Shutara's Bankai 1 by 1

One person effects one world, the other effects 3. That is the difference. His bankai is destructive, but it still only threatens 1 universe. The squad 0 guys cause issues across 3 realms merely as a byproduct of their bankai existing . 3 worlds is more than 1, they mention that part specifically so that we recognize they are above even Yama. So strong they effect the 3 worlds and they had to have them sealed so that only 1 could be used at a time. Yama has to be aware of the world he is in, but every other world is perfectly safe from his bankai. He can't reach them. We don't know what the other characters can do but there's no saying that one of their's isn't destructive. OETSU especially. Her bankai isn't destructive, but it's an instant win if you don't have plot armor. She simply creates a fate you cannot escape from. No cause, no effect, you are simply put into an unwinnable situation that she narrates the outcome. Literally weaves their destinies into existence.

there very much is a difference. Askin's scenes with Oetsu are cut down, and the other fights are as well. I don't know why you're complaining. This is way more than we got in the manga, and if you got your wish where each episode was just one of the fights, then either some of those fights would have to have been pushed to next year to do, or a bunch of fights in this cour would have to have been completely scrapped.@@TheDBLANCHARD

I don't think you understand what I said. To give each member of Squad Zero a fight as long as, say, Rukia vs As Nodt, they would have to push those fights to Cour 3. Even then, I can promise you, the Squad Zero vs Schutzstaffel fights were in fact longer than ten seconds. Askin literally fights both Oetsu and Tenjiro. Oetsu's fight is long enough for Askin's entire monologue, and Tenjiro's fight is Askin running away for a solid half-minute with choreography split up between them. Lille and Oetsu exchange tactics, Pernida is contorting plants. Really the only fight that got the short end of the stick was Senjumaru vs Gerard. And that's not mentioning Uryu vs Senjumaru and Tenjiro vs Haschwalth, neither of which even HAPPENED in the manga. The anime already dramatically extended this fight, and here you are complaining about not each individual fight being an episode long, when again, each cour has to be 13 episodes. In order for each Squad Zero member to get an episode to their own individual fight, either episodes 19 - 23 need to be cut from Cour 2, or those fights need to all be pushed to Cour 3. Anime Cours are simply not long enough for your requests to be met.@@TheDBLANCHARD

The video is backwards

There is only one manga-canon fight in this entire video and it is very easy to tell which one. The difference between manga writing and randomly thrown in anime filler scenes in insane. Manga content has actual context, dialogue and weight to it. Anime only stuff is so superficial compared to it, they didnt even seem to have tried.

What? Oetsu isn’t even justice this happened in the manga. He’s pretty strong it isn’t about Ichigo and Aizen because the Schutzstaffel isn’t on their level either. He is just faster than all of them, although Lille does adapt They’ll get their justice in cour 3

English is cheap language If you translate this into English, it sounds really cheap. In Japanese, it's very poetic and uses old words to make it beautiful. People who can't understand this in Japanese can only enjoy 50% of the work. Senjumaru's first person is warawa, but it's boring in English. “Warawa” is the first person word used by noble women.
