Yuvraj Singh’s Most Candid Speech Yet

He’s best known for hitting six sixes in one over and for lifting the World Cup with team India. But before he got there, he’s also had to overcome a rough childhood and a lengthy battle with cancer. As Yuvraj Singh celebrates his 39th birthday, here’s one of the greatest comeback stories ever told.

    @@blistering2900 Picking Binny in 2015 was wrong as compared to Yuvi. But dropping him after 2017 was correct decision. He already played much cricket and he was out of form in IPL also. As well as there are many new promising cricketers like Iyer, Mayank, Pandya, Bumrah, Pant etc who played awesome in IPL. Yuvi was totally out of form at the end of his career. One or two knocks is not enough at that age.

    @@andrewvideos5328 lol iyer was not even in the squad in 2017. How much manish pandey achieved since 2017. Thats is your personal views that he already played much cricket. Rember sachin played for 24 years. Do you know why India lost in knockouts cos they lacked match winners who can deliver in knockouts like yuvi and gambhir. Kohli and rohit failed in knockout but depending heavily on them was not too not a good thing. Let me tell you what dhoni has done in the ICC tourneys so far in 2015 and 2019. So you should stop generalizing the there were better options. So who is replacement at no 4 for yuvi ???

  • @kunjalssj
    @kunjalssj3 жыл бұрын

    Props to Yuvi for speaking up against his dad and not sugarcoating his story. Just because he became a successful cricketer, everybody conveniently ignores the fact that his dad subjected him to regular abuse as a kid. Sure, the methods worked in his case, but this also provides a way for millions of other fathers in the world to justify child abuse as long their methods yield result. Yuvi is not the only successful cricketer India has produced and many players have gone on to achieve great things even with a normal upbringing. If we keep on justifying abuse, often the victims themselves rationalize it in their heads leading them to carry forward the same attitude when they grow up and causing a perpetual cycle of violence.

His match against england during T20 with 6 sixes if not been performed we would have been out of tournament and then eventually the world cup as well. I really had eyes running with water when started to read paper of his illness, seriously i wish he had a great goodbye from bcci . How he delivered his speech ( life journey) ,I can really say he is pure Indian ,being a cricket legend himself no show-off. He is a Hero/ fighter for a reason 😊 . Real inspiration for a dreamer . The most touching is that he puts his country first( like winning the WC for India) even having a serious disease like Cancer . You are a big inspiration for me too Yuvi Sir 🙏🏻 . ❤️❤️ Atlast one thing that is floating in my mind just now is : Oye Doctor 🤣🤣🤣🤣
