Yuriy Rybchinsky is an outstanding Ukrainian poet, playwright, People's Artist of Ukraine. One of the founders of modern Ukrainian pop song. Author of lyrics for songs by Vladimir Ivasyuk, Igor Poklad and Nikolai Mozgovoy. In a frank conversation with Svetlana Leontyeva, he recalled how back in the 2000s he felt that there would be a full-scale war, when even then the Russians in the media were manipulating the sentiments of their citizens against Ukraine. He also said whether his opinion had changed during the two years of war regarding “good Russians” and whether he had an opinion about going abroad.
