Its not that their tame but they know when to squeal because its rude to be making a lot of noise when someone is talking. Usually during fan service moments and when they are told by the hosts to actually make some noise will they do it. Its pretty common over there.

I think it might be because the general audience for YOI is more young adults than teens. Because I was surprised too. Like with the Free! events there is cheering and screaming a lot more.

What khairil said might be accurate because i saw an interview of slipknot and their thoughts on their concert in japan, and they say that its quite refreshing to see the audience not being so wild. Like theyll cheer when needed but listen when the performance is going on.

Agreed. He and Hino were techically Japanese Americans since they born in the US. But I'm not sure if Hino can speak English fluently than Ayumu.

It's pretty complicated because it's a Japanese pun, but let me try. "Sugiru" in Japanese basically means "too much". Seung Gil in Japanese is "Sungiru" so they're only one letter apart. So when they're saying "lots of fun" (that's not literally what they're saying, just more or less), which is "tanoshimi sugiru" they instead say "tanoshimi suNgiru" and it becomes a pun. They put Seung Gil's name into the phrase, basically. I'm sorry, I can't explain it better, that's why it's a pun, you can't explain puns. xD
