Yuri Liberzon is an internationally acclaimed concert classical guitarist and recording artist.
Both Yale University School of Music and Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University awarded Mr. Liberzon full scholarships to study with two of the world’s leading guitar figures: Manuel Barrueco and Benjamin Verdery. Yuri went on to successfully complete his Graduate Performance Diploma and Bachelor’s degree from Peabody and finally a Master’s degree from Yale.

Robert Ruck, the luthier who made this beautiful guitar (no disrespect to the player who draws that sound from it) died August 13, 2018.He will live on through his instruments.

Masterful. Beautiful sound, touch and artistry. Guitar sounds fantastic. Can you tell us more about that Ruck? Number? Double top? Sound ports? Tony.

Thanks so much Tony! This is a newer Ruck. Serial number 1061 from 2015 made for my order. It is a not a double top, sound ports. I asked Robert to build it in the style of his older guitars with emphasis on beautiful sound.
I very like your guitar sound, Can you tell me what strings used on your Robert Ruck? Ken

Ken Su I believe it was EJ46FF on this day, but normally I use EJ45FF. I went with 46 because my guitar was new and needed more string tension to help it open up.
