He's underrated if you think he's only a staple for cloud rap when he's the Godfather of it, but truth is this entire new generation is riding Yung Lean's wave. Everybody from Lil Xan, Lil Yachty, 6Dogs to Trippie Redd have been clearly influenced by Yung Lean and all the producers even 808 Mafia have now clear SadBoys influence in their music. Think it's a coincidence all these Trap producers started doing LoFi stuff after Lean came out. If its hot it's hot.

I like how he lets us deep enough into his world to let us know that we aren't alone and that he has been where we have been. The anxiety, Depression and drugs run deep in this dark world. This song has got me through some of my darkest days and hits much harder in 2020 than it did in 2017.

I’m really digging this. I just stumbled onto the song but I’m glad I did. Totally underrated
