bottomline: when I moved from CHI to ATL 'round '09..Yung LA..it was his city..he was the trendsetter everybody copied..the mohawk hair..the language..the 'futuristic swag'..all of it..in fact 'Future' got his name from Yung LA & J.Money's Futuristic themes thru out their mixtapes..there is no Future w/o LA..far as I know Grand Hustle who was also still a big deal @ the time..signed LA..dropped 'Aint I'..but the mixtapes were ridiculous..played 'em on repeat in a 97 Lex SC4 w/ 10" Nakamichi Sub..I saw Rich Kids @ Cumberland mall & tried to push 'em beats..I was so much more bold & ambitious then..Ive turned a bit jaded from people disappointing me over & over..but the music is still a go & what I learned @ redzone..all it takes is one track to change everything so..keep goin'💥
