The more I listen to this Ballade, the more it I enjoy it. Li is simply superb here.
I've searched so long for a version of Ballade no. 3 that's this good! I feel like a Deadhead who's found his favorite version of Sugar Magnolia.

Plasma Wisp Have you tried Zimmerman’s edition? It is actually very similar to Yundi’s, if not a bit less dramatic and more mature.

+Fredric Chopin it's rare to get a comment from the composer himself... lol. Anyway, yeah I know just saying the tempo isn't how I feel like it should be played at.

I think that it will make classical music appreciators being specials among other musical appreciators. Tbh, in my class I am the only one who loves Chopin and Bach while others will love Twice and Blackpink :/

I really really enjoy his interpretations, only thing I have to say his sound comes off as too harsh sometimes.
the use of the una corda says a lot (it should NEVER be used) The sound becomes disturbingly muffled. Colors are mix of pastels and primaries. Sorry. He disappoints.
Interpretation is one thing….obliteration is another. Like watching paint dry.
Sorry. Y fans. Misses the point here and in much of his playing. A wonderful student performance. Bet an artist."?………..
