    The pink powder from what I know could be some sort of detergent they put in the hole so the clam wouldn't be able to get oxygen from the wet sand, they'll come out for air.. I could be wrong tho

    I live on the west coast of the United States in Oregon, are razor clams are much bigger and they are my favorite clam by far they are delicious if you don't overcook them.

    A lot of you might think it’s gross coming from the mud but this is simple delicious amazing cooking and living at its best. AND people if the land KNOW how to keep their food clean and keep their place very clean. I know because I have stayed with a family in the Philippines and they were VERY clean and thorough

    That pink stuff is a form of powder limestone used alot in Thai cooking, used to ensure crispiness in fried doughs and crunchiness when candying fruits and such

    Hi Missy!! We haven't tried any seafood at Hong Kong Market yet. We normally go to HEB because they're cheaper, and they have a special for large, deveined shrimp for $5.99...and they'll steam it with garlic, lemon pepper or old-bay seasoning while you shop!! And at no extra cost!! Dinner is ready and you'll love it!! Take care!!... 3!

    This reminded me so much of getting razor clams back in the 70s in Homer, Alaska. They were much bigger and then you could get a 5 gallon bucket limit. Also the Alaskan razor clams are a different variety.

    It’s so interesting to watch western youtubers cut most of the clam away and talk about how they only eat the foot because the other part isn’t good, but eastern folk have no qualms eating the whole clam. I love it! Great video!
