Yuma Kagiyama claws to gold in Italy ft. Mikhail Kolyada, Daniel Grassl | THAT FIGURE SKATING SHOW

Yuma Kagiyama rebounded from a shaky short program with an incredible free skate, good enough to bring him from 7th to gold. Mikael Kolyada took silver, and Daniel Grassl took the bronze at the Gran Premio D'Italia, taking advantage of that home crowd. The men's event was definitely not short of the drama with Boyang Jin also excelling in one program, but not another. So whatever you THOUGHT was going to happen in the men's event in Italy may have happened, but not in the way you'd expect it too. And Asher and Dylan get into all of it.

I mean, how can you not.
Quint loop? I doubt it, unless he pre-rotates a full turn on ice. Judges seem to overlook this. Either way, his skating is little more than tornado gymnastics. There is zero finesse or musicality - very juniorish or intermediate even. But good for him skating well jump-wise.

Yeah, I find Grassl’s skating difficult to watch.
