No more vampires after you eat Korean food LOL

I'm living proof that vampires eat korean food. Hisss!
I'm trying chuck roast this time to cut down on cooking time. I omitted anchovies since my hubby is allergic to fish. added Napa cabbage (cooking stalks for 1 hour then add the sprouts and leaves for the last 30 minutes). I hope it doesn't change the flavor too much since we did it how you said the first time and I LOVE LOVE LOVED it. I'm half Filipino and half white but my mom taught me a few Filipino dishes and everyone loves her cooking. I'm going to show this to my mom and I know she'll love it. My husband has also been cooking your food since I showed him your channel and he's been doing such a great job. your instructions are very easy to follow and we appreciate all the recipes you have shared. thank you very much for everything you do! !!!!
This is why I fell in love with Korea food recently. Loads of vegetables in your dishes. Almost always one pot meal with rice. What more a housewife can ask for.
the anchovie hack is Genius! Last winter I made Yukgaejang (without fernbrake, unfortunately) for myself, ate it for two weeks straight and I still love it. Also I didn't get sick from flu. Best dish for cold season! thanks a lot for that recipe!
Seonkyoung, I first ate Yukgaejang in Chuncheon in 1985 while stationed at Camp Page in the U.S. Army. I will never forget how instantly comforting it was on a very cold winter's night. Thank you for sharing this.
Eating Asian food is the only way I can eat vegetables. Like I look seaweed and bean sprouts etc. You guys make healthy food taste so good! ❤️

@Manuel Delgado Saying she enjoys vegetables more because of Asian food is not cultural appropriation.
What an awesome soup. I made it minus the anchovies though. Not a big fan of 'em and neither are my friends I invited. But it was still a big hit and so delicious. They keep asking me to make it again and I sure will. Thank you for sharing this incredible recipe. I did add the noodles and the rice as well. Had some difficulties locating all the greens but was able to find them at a Vietnamese market.

This (together with kimchi) is the best I have seen!!! I need to find some yukgaejang!
Thank you for amazing recipe for Yukgaejang. I am a korean who was born and raised in Japan. Now I lived in America with my family. I always love the Yukgaejang but never tried to make it my own. All my family loved your yukgaejang recipe. Thank you!
Imagine being this excited about this meal, salivating And gushing about it.... only to decide after yet *another public meltdown* that you're never going to enjoy it again. 🙄
I just don't get why people would "thumbs down" a video like this... Anyway, gonna try and make my own Yukaejang this week, thanks for the easy recipe !
Yah! FINALLY!!!!! Super excited to make this!
I love your videos and am making this dish today. I like the fact that you show the name of some of the ingredients by filming the bag or bottle, it really helps in finding them.
A Korean staple! I love how descriptive you are 🙌 It looks really legit
With this dish is how I got conquered by Korean cuisine a few years ago and been captive to the culture since then. As always you are an amazing and shiny guide for me. Blessings to the family, I wish I had someone like you on mine, that can pamper me with those exquisite recipes. Saludos de Mexico!
i HAVE to have gosari in my yukgaejong. when i lived in Alaska, i craved it constantly while pregnant. id call the korean restaurants ahead to make sure that they have gosari available :) sooooo good! the taste and the texture is delicious

Always adorable and tasty recipes as well!🥰
Fantastic recipe!
This is my favorite recipe ❤️
Thank you so much. I followed the recipe and it was really really good. My wife said that it tastes just like the restaurant 3 times while we were eating it. I ended up adding little more salt and red pepper flakes to my liking. I looked for the bottle of anchovies at Lotte and H-mart but couldn't find it. However, found it next to cans of sardines at Safeway. Also, I was worried that the glass noodles wouldn't get cooked but it was perfect. I always visit Aiiiiiisiaaaann Ut Hummmmmm whenever I feel like cooking Korean dishes : )
Wow that looks really yummy! I'm so hungry right now 😔
your food always make me hungry, looks so delecious!

Thank you for having this showing what went in it! I ordered this soup from Resturant and was afraid of the ferns cause they looked like baby skinny creatures. Was not ready for that! Lol I’ve eaten lots of Asia soups these ferns were my first. Next time I order I will be ready, knowing what it is. So glad you had this video for me to learn from. ❤️👍🏼🌷
I will have to try minus the anchovies 😉! Love when both of you enjoy food together! Love! Love! Love! Thx!!!!!

Fougère (FOO-zhair) is French for "Fern," which is the same type of plant as Fernbrake, which is a Fiddlehead fern. In fact, both plants are often referred to by the same name: "Bracken."
