I think Gojo is serious in that scene because it's not even just full power Sukuna, but full power Sukuna in a body that gives him access to the 10 shadows, given that he said that a Gojo and a Zenin (with 10 shadows) killed each other in the past

My theory is the reason we havent confirmed Nobaras death is because shes part of the plan with sekunas last finger and her curse technique possibly opening a moment to do damage.

I don't know a thing about what could happen, but there's definitely a lot of hinting at the nature of cursed energy having a lot to do with the soul. They showed most characters or mentioned them… there is a purpose for that, yes she is probably dead but gege wouldnt forget about her so blatantly if he didnt had something up his sleeve with her.

If Yuji can switch bodys with people he may be able to gain a copy of their curse technique that imprints onto his soul as he does have good soul awareness. This would make sense why all his friends appear in his "picnic area" gor lack of a better word haha like the vestages of one for all

I don't think Gojo was pressured with that look, he was apparently mad at what happened while he was sealed, especially knowing that the old man next to him killed his friend as well. And also, Yugi having the ability to swap (if he really has it) foreshadows more that he will take over Sukuna again and let Gojo kill him since his only dream as he said before is to have a meaningful death. My last point is that there is no way Yugi touched Gojo to switch with him, it doesn't make any sense to do so.

People thinking gojo is nervous are hilarious. The dude is ready to fuck sakuna up, that's the most serious we've ever seen him. Even the "big three" are surprised by that.

I can imagine sukuna ripping megumi’s heart out as a way to make Gojo forfeit. I don’t see any possible way of either of them just outright losing.

Is it possible that kenjaku's real big plan is to get all the strongest sorcerers together, weakened after the battle so that he can essentially farm the cursed energy for the merger, or whatever his real plan is?

Yuji will die or live all depends on if Megumin dies as I feel like there is still a way especially with one fingered left for yuji to sacrifice him self and take back control and it be in his character, like think back to megumin ver him at the start of the series, that fight since it showed his interest in megumin as a vessel may also be foreshadowing how megumin or yuji will die as that moment will be impactful. It’s possible the author has changed his mind but I feel like if megumin or gojo dies we know the outcome.

The head was a substitute, a consolation. There is still power and part of his soul in the final finger. So he is at 19 fingers. The head was just a factor no one else knew about until now, so they didn't factor it into his power scaling.

Maybe Yuji can do the soul thing through black flash and I think he figured out how Sakuna was the only one able to do it with the ability to eat and steal abilities of what they eat and the soul seems to be the only think kenjaku and Sakuna have in common as to how they lived for thousands of years

I think yuji can learn other sorcerer curse techniques by swupping bodies with them,and its explains how Sukuna has so many curse techniques at his disposal.

I don't know, but I'm pretty sure Yuji's new curse technique works like that. Because Sukuna has a bunch of curse techniques so I think Sukuna has the same curse technique as Yuji I think. The ability to learn someone's curse techniques by body swupping or possession.

I think yuji slapping gojo on the back is him leaving a trace of his soul on gojo's body or smth so when/if gojo gets defeated, yuji can swap into his body and continue fighting. I doubt so, since soul swapping is a relatively new concept to yuji, it’s reasonable that he probably hasn’t aware or know that it’s possible to do it. Plus he wouldn’t do it to Gojo since this wouldn’t make sense. Yuji main goal is him dying in a meaningful way so swapping his soul to Sukuna is better since they has had connection since the very beginning.

Yuuji is definitely going to swap souls with Megumi considering it’s the perfect counter to Sukuna suppressing his soul

@@rogar0x785 I think you misunderstood why he's asking. Yuta's curse technique is to copy others and the condition for that is suggested to be rika ingesting that persons dna. So the answer is more of a maybe/don't know, mostly depending on if rika can even eat the finger. Still would be kinda dumb tho, very fan fiction like. Second rika is literally called the queen of curses 💀.

This chapter has got me so excited to see what Gene has in store for us. Also side note… it was nice to see that Higuruma is still alive I almost didn’t see him on the top panel of the last page.

I don't think Gojo is straight up going to fight Sukuna without some kind of plan. Prolly the reason why he was seen with Gakuganji

I could see Yuji swapping with Megumi (if he switches with a being with multiple souls inside it, he might be able to pick who he switches with, or it may be random) and sacrificing himself and Sakuna to save Megumi (who is now in Yujis body).

Imagine Yuji swaps with Megumi's soul and him and Sukuna fight it out inside Sukuna's inner domain - like when the Binding Vow was made

I wouldn't be surprised if Gojo is planning to lose in a way that severely weakens Sakuna in order to "clear a path for the new generation"

Now that I think about it,Yuji's new ability is really similar to that of Todo's. Only difference being that instead of swapping physically both the target and the user,it swaps their consciences.

I dunno why but I feel like we’re gonna get a situation like goku and gohan during the cell games. I think Sukuna knew Kenjaku or Uraume had the fingers, but decided to postpone the consumption after he got full control of Fushiguro’s body. Maybe the increase in power while Megumi was still trying to contrast Sukuna could have led to the body falling apart.

My theory is that when Yuji is body swapping he is possibly getting their cursed technique etched on his body. Maybe that what the swapped person is mentioning when saying get used to it already?

I think a great way to show them getting the fingers would have been uraume facing a finger bearer that had consumed 5 fingers. This would also give us more feats to see how stronger she is, since she is most likely around uro and the other resurrected sorcerers.

Yuji was just training in Judo with Kusakabe the different translations make it seem weird but no, Yuji isn't swapping bodies. Yuji was implied to eat the death paintings as they're "living on inside him," Sukuna substituted the last finger for the mummy of his corpse, The only "soul" related ability Yuji has shown is being able to damage the soul directly with his attacks because he had Sukuna living inside him and he "learned the contours of the soul," as said by Mahito, Yuji has yet to display any cursed technique but it's believed he'll inherit Cleave&Dismantle as those are implied to be Sukuna's base cursed technique, Black Box is something Sukuna implied to be available to high level jujutsu users(or cursed spirits) the same way new shadow school domains are available to those without the prowess or kind of ct that allows for a domain expansion. Also Yuji isn't going to gain a cursed technique from ingesting the cursed wombs, Gege said in a Q&A board that Yuji eating cursed objects would either have them take over his body, be destroyed by Sukuna (if he was still hosting him,) or become raw cursed energy buff.

I still find it weird that Nobara's fate is unknown. Half of the fanbase is saying that she's dead, but Gege introduced a whole new character to save her and has barely mentioned her. You would at least think that they would tell Gojo that she was dead along with Nanami, right? Either Gege is really trying to save her for something, or they just pulled one of the biggest "Araki forgot"s in animanga history

Nobara was actually too powerful, she's the only character aside from Mahito that directly attacks your soul and bypasses any defense. Without Mahito's limitation of having to touch his opponent. If she gets access to more spiritual energy, she can slowly breakdown even Sakuna and Gojo from a distance through resonance alone.

@@liquid8892 No he didnt he used a bunch of no name curses to escape with the prison realm. 135 was choso vs kenjaku, 136 was kenjaku going over his culling game plan, and 137 was the yuta entrance. Gege wouldnt make him use mahito that quickly hes def saving him for later.

I’ll bet money on us learning Kenjaku’s full past when he fights Higuruma and enters his domain

My theory is Yuuji will use this technique to swap his soul with Megumi. He will be stuck with Sukuna in Megumi's body where Megumi's soul will live in Yuuji's body. Gojo is going to die and the cast will beat Sukuna. Gojo's role always was to build stronger allies and this time those guys will beat some one whom even Gojo can't beat, proving Gojo's efforts right.

This is what it seems most likely to happen and that's why i think that it won't go as this. It's gonna be predictable and a little boring if it goes like that. I think something else will happen. Also, Kenjaku is a masterming, everything goes as he planned and im pretty sure Sukuna vs Gojo is just a diversion. He is planning something big. He probably merge with sukuna or gojo or both.

Yuji eats the last finger, then yuji swaps the 19 finger sukuna with the 1 finger now in him.

I could see them having yuji in gojo until he gets the opportunity to enter Sukuna, maybe then yuji and megumi can fight for megumi’s body back from the inside, megumi could also get a power up from Sukuna’s energy nd maybe more knowledge on how to properly use his abilities although it’s a stretch

There’s is a chance yuji is willing to either eat the last figure or do something to get his fate back as he has accepted it, he wants to save megumin, it just makes sense. We could see something similar to the sukuna vs megumi fight at the start of the series and the out come of the that be similar to how it unfolds for both megumi or yuji.

Maybe Sakuna CT is taking a body and their CT. The person's CT is stored in the Malevonant Shrine. Malevolent Shrine CT allows sakura to keep techniques.

There wasn't a nineteen day timeskip. You need to fact check before saying these things. It's the same day as the last chapter until the time skip to the 24th. This is confirmed by gojo only just now questioning Nanami's death in the very next panel. Why would he wait 19 days after being free'd from his prison to talk about Nanami's death? Uraume is also still hurting from gojos punch.

Saw the Yuji in Gojos body theory, and it seems likely that Yuji was in Gojo's body and then swapped back with him using the pat on the back. It really doesn't seem advantageous to have Yuji fight Sukuna whilst in Gojo's body.

I assume that we'll get a rematch inside the soul in that case with Yuji and Fushiguro fighting Sukuna inside Fushiguro's domain while Gojo fights him physically splitting his attention.

I think there will be two battles one fiscal and the other mentality it's a rescue mission and it needs a hero to go deep into enemy lines while the heavy hitters can attack and keep him occupied.

I remembered the fight between yuji and mahito, didn't yuji damage mahito's soul? maybe the same thing will happen to sukuna's soul that is in megumi's body when yuji attacks his soul too and that's why sukuna will die

How yuji's technique works would change alot, if he can only do this to himself and another person that be cracked, if he can do swap anyone with anyone then not only do we have to focus on who is alive, we would have to focus on who's who

If Yuuji has the power to swap bodies, and form memories in people's brains (Right, isn't that what happens sometimes? W Todo and those 3 curse bros?), would it be too much of a stretch to assume that he can also reverse that & download other people's memories? Ie. in a fight against Sukuna (if Yuuji is strong enough), could he be able to tap into Sukuna's memory, and download all his Sorcerer knowledge/techniques/1000 years of practice/training - making it his own - to then use it against the King of Curses? (kinda like Matrix-style downloadable combat training). Like a Mimic ability if this was Final Fantasy 7.... I wonder... thoughts anyone?

Like where the theory is going, but he Doesn’t implement memories into peoples heads, todo just has a unique way of thinking and did not have people who were on his level so he imagined yuji as his best friend cause they had the same Taste in girls, the other curse womb imagined Yuji as his sibling cause when he was killing him, he got the feeling as if he was killing his siblings which caused him to break down and cope with what was happening because the curse wombs are all connected, it the reason why yuji cried after killing the other 2 curse wombs

@@marconeves1979 for todo it because they had the same type when it came to women so he made up those memories that didn’t happen, for his older brother is the only one who had yuji in his memory and the reason why is because he is A the oldest cure womb, so when curse wombs die the other curse wombs are over come with strong emotions, Choso who was trying to kill yuji for revenge started to be overcome with that emotion, which he didn’t understand because this would happen only with other curse wombs, which caused him to see yuji in memories that didn’t happen

Sukuna is reference shakespeare when he look to his skull. It's mement mori or remember death. I heard about this when someone is make a review of the chapter.

Naobara was honestly too OP, if she gets a reincarnation she'll basically be able to chip away at Sakuna through his finger from a distance using resonance. He won't even be able to fight back or defend against it since it's a direct attack to the soul and now he has a body.

I have said this a few times but I think that Yuji is being made into Kenjaku's perfect vessel. That's why he used him to house sukuna. I also think that he has a hidden family curse technique. I think his grandfather was going to tell him about his family before he passed. I think that his curse is one that turns the tide of battle there's been a ton of fights he's had where people start to see him as family. To the point some even start having memories planted. We know his brothers have a reason to have that resignation with him. That doesn't explain other fights though. I think his ability to eat cursed objects and absorb their strength is key to Kenjaku's plan. I think he wanted him to die so he can do the body switch but also get the rest of sukunas strength by eating what's left of him.
