I remember for my 7th birthday my childminder said she’d buy me some cards. I took out the Argos catalog and showed her the jaden deck. A few day’s later we went to Argos and when I saw Cyrus’ deck coming down the aisle I didn’t have the heart to tell her it was the wrong one so I just rolled with it. Turned out to have some good times with it.

so much nostalgia with this starter deck. I had the Jaden starter Deck and my friend i knew in middle school had the syrus deck because he was into machines. good memories. :)

When I was in 1st grade my brother and I got our first decks. He got kaiba and I got yugi. Fun times. You bet that we brought our decks to school the next day. Everybody pretty much had the same cards, but it was fun for a while and it got a big jumpstart when I was in middle school. That time I didn’t really get into it, I just liked having the cards and reading the effects. There were tournaments right after school in the library.

Archfiend Soldier and Zure are my Fiend Deck's fighting elit. I love them both. I didn't know they have existed in the same Starter Deck. I combine them with La Jinn, Opticlops and Gil Garth, using Fiend and Normal Monsters support. It rocks.

This brings back memories for me D':

I like these old starters. Something nice about the more slower pace, and more balanced decks. If it didn't cost an arm and a leg, I'd love to get SD Yugi Evolution and SD Kaiba Evolution and pit them against each other.

Happy I never got this deck back in the day. For a deck marketed as a "Roid" deck, those monsters were few and far between. Seems inconsistent.
