She was also optional and only appeared in random battles in a forrest. With chances of appearing ranging from 1/32 to 1/2 depending on the location. They kept the spirit of the encounter even if she will absolutely always join the party.

Vid is missing what happens after she runs off from you saying hardly or her tactical retreat

Yuffie instantly realized how dangerous & threatening Cloud was when he decided to humor her & drew his sword. She great instinct & judgement, Unlike Reno.

Any time I play the og FF7, recruiting Yuffie is the first thing I do outside Midgar. Whenever Rebirth comes to pc, she's automatically accepted. I love how she just lines up right into the group though.

Yuffie is the star of the how tbh. While the rest are pretty much the same as OG FF7 at this point of the game. They put a lot of effort into Yuffie and its great.

Honestly the character that need the most amount of work was Red XIII, Yuffie had her side story in game with Wutai, Cait sith had his own role with spying on Avalance for Shinra and later on Shinra for Avalance (as well as a not so insignificant role in dirge of Cerberus), Vincent had an entire game dedicated to him……Red XIII…..he just kind of was…..there…..you can cut pretty much his entire character and story arc and loose nothing in the orginal compilation

Yuffie is adorable, I know they put her in a few “shipping” scenes with Cloud, but they were the joke ones (like the Loveless play). She honestly gives little sister energy to everyone, especially Cloud. They’re so cute together in that way, I’m hoping for more big brother/little sister energy in the next game ❤

So I genuinely picked all the rejection options beside “…Sure” thinking that complying with her would make her more happy. totally forgot about the original game.

Hmm, I didn't know it was possible in this game to actually NOT get Yuffie. That's a pretty nice throwback to the fact that I never actually came across Yuffie in my first playthrough of FF7 back in the day so I didn't know anything about the character until much much later. That being said, there's NO WAY I wasn't going to pick up Yuffie as she showed just how good of a character she is from the DLC of Remake and I've been very glad to see that they didn't nerf her at all in this game but instead brought up the other characters a bit to make them more useful. Yuffie is still an incredible glass cannon and I'm thoroughly enjoying experimenting with different group convos to take full advantage of what she brings to the table.

The English voice acting is okay. Barret, Cloud, Cait Sith and Aerith are really well done... But why would anyone choose the English actors over the Japanese?

Enjoy these moments folks....because when it's over.....you're going to feel sadness and disappointment that it's over and it will be years before getting a game like this again. The few other jrpgs that came out recently are trash, including FF16.
