Will the enamel on the GuZheng saddle ever chip off from the pressure of the strings always touching it? How longing will it last before it chips off? Looks nice but I fear something expensive made to be a piece of art isn’t built to last like simple models. But I could be wrong.

the material on the saddle tip is buffalo bone, which should have no problem with the string tension. This one doesn't have enamel, but for the ones with enamel, it's only used on the decoration part, so it shouldn't be a problem.
