What do you think of Azalea or Ty-Phon as the flex extra deck spot in place of Nightmare? And what’s your decision on not running heel eagle?

I think those are great choices! Honestly, azalea would have come up more than the Nightmare for me recently haha. And my decision on not running heel eagle in this profile was because I was just dumb and didn’t realize it was so good till after! In my Road to Mastery series, I end up adding Heel Eagle and I put SP in place of Nightmare! Thanks for checking out the profile!

So I know this is a couple months old but I’m hoping I get a response, but with brave strix and the rise rank up raidraptor spell couldn’t you use brave strix raidraptor spell effect to get that card set to avoid being ashed? Because it is technically a raidraptor spell and you’re not adding to hand but going straight to set

So in the combo I show at 11:30; you have to add the Rank-Up Magic Skip Force because it doesn’t have “Raidraptor” in the name itself, it’s only mentioned. However, let’s say I opened up Rank-Up Magic Skip Force, I can choose to then set the Rise Rank-Up-Force Raidraptor’s Force if I wanted because it has “Raidraptor” in the name of the card itself

@@JayDTCGyeah! I was just curious in general if you went with the other one if that’s a way to avoid being ashed like say in a different combo set trying to get that card if it’s a way to avoid being ashed versus say using roost

Youre not playing a heel eagle? Its another target for noir lanius that recycles the raid raptors force so you make 2 towers on your first turn and 1 on the opponents If you dump fuzzy instead of mimicry, you can use mimicry to search roost which then gets you glorious bright, 2 more cards youre not running that youre missing out on

Doesnt this die to one imperm/veiler/mourner? Or what are we doing after raiders knight/brave strix get negated?

No it 100% does if you don’t open other extenders, that’s why before I started the combo, I said, “now this is without interruptions”

@@JayDTCG damn thats tough. Done some testing with the deck in the past few weeks and everyone and their mothers playing imperm/veiler and mourner and i cant get past that one handtrap yet ive seen alot of tops recently so i thought there might be some combo lines to play around it.

Don’t you use Wise’s effect twice in this combo explainer to set a Rank Up? (It’s once per turn)

Hi there! Thanks for checking out the video! So we set the new rising RUM spell on your turn, and then on your opponents turn, after we board wipe your opponent, wise strix will set the phantom knights rank-up and you can use it on your opponents turn too :)

You can't summon evilswarm nightmare since u used fuzzy effect and so get locked in raidraptor special summon

As I was showing in the second combo, we don’t use fuzzy so we don’t get raidraptor locked :)
