You are winning the duels you went first and did not get interrupted by ash or Maxx C. You know your lineup's for sure but any deck could do that when going first and is not stopped by handtraps, no?

That's a fair assessment. At the same time though, I feel as though games in MD are generally based around the coin flip and one's opening hand. Going second in MD usually means having to deal with several negates or interactions and GE even with its new support is still fragile when going second which is why almost all of my duels are going first. As for the second point, cards like Ash and Maxx C are generally devastating to deal with so I made damn sure to include as many counters as I could fit in just so I could counter them which just so happened to have happened during my climb to M1. And yeah, most decks can do that but considering Galaxy-Eyes relatively low power ceiling by comparison to decks like Purrely, Kash, Tear Punk, and D-Link, I don't mind getting to M1 just by being lucky.

@@Kanimize You deserved your M1 title 100%. I'm new to modern YGO and ranked up with Swoso before Kashtira came to MD. Now that I tried to make use of GE and Chaox Max decks I have nothing but respect for you. I feel like I am too stupid to play GE and therefore happily keep watching good gameplays. I was just irritated by the fact that none of the gameplay featured some kind of comeback where you managed to play through all kinds of handtraps and negates. ...as I fail to recover from any of the mentioned features I was just hoping to learn some new techs. Your gameplay was unbelievably well played nonetheless. Keep grinding and putting the meta slaves in there places. Take care and best of luck for future game :)

I went from m3 to m1 during an all nighter with this deck so about 7 hours.

what card protectors are you using man, how are they changing mid game

I used a mod to swap out the images from the Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon card protectors.
