Duelist of the Rose had one of the peak Exodia models and animations. That games 3D models alone could win your heart. It needs a 2021 restore, without adding new cards and errating card effects.

The first time I got Exodiaed in Forbidden Memories as a kid scared me so hard 😂 watching it now as an adult is just badass!

Even though there are other duel-winning cards now, I like that Exodia still gets this kind of respect.

Man, I hated the use of that damn Gravity Bind to halt the assault to stop the Exodia summoning, only for you to have no choice but to use Dark Hole if you had it as a failsafe, that old man was a real asshole at times, worse still was the final boss and that card he used to jack half your lifepoints and really beef up his monsters!

You can revive those memories with a Pcsx2 which is basically the game with better performance and quality that runs on a Pc.

7:03 man I remember collecting all the exodia parts in 2004 first part I got a present from my best childhood friend the other one I traded. And the head and the arms I bought for 15 bucks in kinda not so well condition but Original. The intro from still gives me goosebumps still a great movie when getting exodia in the hand.

The game is constantly changing. But Exodia is eternal.

Forbidden memories hit me hard with nostalgia. I remember playing it with my cousins on my PS1

The Forbidden Memories graphics might have not aged the best, but it more than compensates with presentation Also that last one is so amazing

I think 7 Trials to Glory was my favorite. The build up is fantastic. With the lightning storm, the cards you spent combo and draw after draw acquiring circling over each other to summon the most feared monster in the game, each body part popping into reality as he decimates your opponent is beautiful. That's what an instant win of that calibur should be. A bit long but that's the point, you just won in one of the most convoluted ways in the game!

I can't believe SH Figuarts hasn't gotten around to doing Yu-Gi-Oh monsters

I wanna see a Yu-Gi-Oh show where the monsters are the main characters... Kind of a slice of life/shonen type deal. Or maybe a high-school type comedy series, with Exodia (or maybe Obelisk who forcibly takes over in season 2) as the principle who barely fits in his office. I'm picturing him squeezed into his office and typing on a computer using sticks or pins cos his massive fingers are too big for the keys.

generally i think that the duel links animation is the best 😍

It must take the power of exodia himself to move the mouse cursor out of the way.

I love these. While the chances of triggering them is slim unless you build a fitting deck it feels so special when one of these animations play. I love the one from 7 trails to glory.
