My god, the pixel art is beautiful! They even have animations!! Gotta play one of these Gbc titles.
Love the fact that the music in the background is from Pokemon Trading Card Game (GBC) lool
Glad I came across this video, grew up playing this game and many other yugioh titles. This game is simple and straightforward without barraging you with gimmick cards and styles (besides Girai Gumo). It's more enjoyable than the ps1 game but lacks the variety/mechanics introduced in the gba games.
As I said for the first video, this is such a great series of videos, you deserve so much more views I hope people will find you out like I did from a KZread search on those games!
I just found your channel and I'm in love with this series already, thank you so much for covering this topic!
Great videos! I really enjoy the duel monsters games and look forward to the next review(s). Even though this game has better visuals, a cleaner interface, and more cards/mechanics (mechanically, and in terms of card list, this game is basically GBC Forbidden Memories and I love that), there’s one thing that I much prefer about the first game: Enemy Decks. In DM2 I noticed that the decks are just seemingly random monsters whose power corresponds roughly to what stage you’re on, but the personality of each manga character is lost in the process. For example, in DM1, Yami Yugi loves to spam Gaia the Dragon Champion. In DM2, he will frequently draw Crimson Sunbird against you. Luckily forbidden memories improves this, and then DM3 really hits the mark with this. Look forward to your next reviews!
Certainly did not expect to hear Telefang music in a Yugioh video

I will take any opportunity I can to spread the good word.
You deserve far more subs
Was the music from the Pokemon TCG on GB the same as this game or did you just use it for the video? Very nostalgic.

I’m assuming he just used it for the video as Pokémon TCG (the video game) was developed by Hudson Soft and Creatures Inc. while this game was developed by Konami. Even so, hearing music from PTCG did put a smile on my face.
It feels weird hearing Pokémon tcg gbc music in a yugioh game video, but I’m not disliking that!
The cost system was so annoying. Several Gameboy games had it.
My cousin had this growing up, never played it
So Mirror Shield didn't exist when they forced you to attack? Nonsense
lol at having the pokemon TCG music instead of yugioh.

I had this game, but as I was barely familiar with Yugioh at the time, was not very good at the game.
Don't forget the Xbox game!
THIS GAME IS UGLY AS FARK! UGLY LEVELS OF POKEMON PINBALL! REMEMBER PEOPLE!!! POKEMON TCG EXIST! EVEN THE GAMEBOY VERSION OF BOMBERMAN GAMES ARE MUCH MORE POLISHED THAN THIS! But they should had the RULES OF THE UPPER*DECK/BANDAI tcg instead of an original version... but oh well.. at least it gaves many games for the format... maybe only The Sacred Cards is worth FOR EVERYONE to play
