To me it looks most like the Blue Eyes Alternative White Dragon. This kit looks AMAZING!!! I haven’t played yugioh in years but I have a blue eyes deck tucked away just in case. Definitely going to get this kit!

I would totally get this one if there were model kits for other Yu-Gi-Oh things like the dark magician and red eyes black dragon

There's also Exodia on the way. And Red-Eyes Black Dragon will probably be a case of recolouring and alternative parts. We could end up with a number of Dragons that way..

@@jaredreisinger6745 True, but, where some of the Dragons are similar, Bandai can still reuse certain sprues (it's pretty common with model kits like Gundams. I've swapped parts between various models to make my own custom figures). Also, with the Amplified series, they're not necessarily making them exactly like their original forms (sometimes they make them more stylised), so with a bit of tweaking they could design them to share certain parts. Also, the more of these models Bandai make, the more reusable parts will become available to them. And I wouldn't be surprised if they use parts from their Amplified Digimon line. . Sometimes you can predict what a model company will do. Other times they surprise you. I think a potential Red-Eyes Black Dragon model will share at least some parts with the Blue-Eyes White Dragon (I'm thinking they'll probably have the same wings, the internal connector parts, the stand, and possibly parts of the arms and/or legs. Red-Eyes is more spiky, so the main body and head would probably be new).

I think the reason why it looks more like the Azure-Eyes than Blue-Eyes is because it's from the "Figure-Rise Standard Amplified" series which, as the name suggests, amplifies the design while still keeping it similar to what it's ments to be. There's a load of amplified digimon kits that are better at giving a visual example than my shitty explanation. For example there's a model kit for both FRS and FRSA Dukemon/Gallantmon that give a very good visual example of what I mean. (also would love so see you do them both in a video *wink* *wink* That being said thank you very much for the video and adding another kit to the list of kits I want to get.

I would say it's based more heavily towards the Dark side of Dimensions appearances of Blue-Eyes archetypes, as those were the last times Takahashi drew his characters with a modern take.

It's definitely not Azure-Eyes. It's based on the Dark Side of Dimensions appearance of Blue-Eyes, which is actually a WHITE dragon with BLUE eyes.

Surprisingly already existed along with Winged Dragon of Ra and Slifer the Sky Dragon, Ra and Obelisk were kinda poseable with Slifer locked in a static pose cause of his body shape, i used to have them when i was a kid, got em from Walmart in Canada like 25 years ago, just look up the 1996 Mattel Yugioh Deluxe kits, they were pretty great for their time, hopefully they get a proper redo

1:11 see the movie pack printing of blue eyes and it looks like it, earlier blue eyes printings like the tablet one all kind of made it look a blueish color, you see it a lot in the anime

I have the model kit as well, was my first and till now only modelkit i have ever done and it looks great, though the wing connections are...kinda strained? In any case, looks great !

There hasn't been any announcements, I imagine if they do it'll be Premium Bandai exclusive. That said, they did announce a kit for Exodia fairly recently.

I have a question. Is the wire recommended for this model kit? Because if it is I think I still have some but I don't know if it's recommended or not.
