yup. i grew up watching ytv. and afther school soon as i get home. oh-oh will be starting.

Growing up in the 90s in Canada was a good choice

now this is the real ytv. this is how ytv sould have been. i had a bad day today and watching this made me happy again. im 36 years old now. ytv was the best in the 90s-2007. now today in 2024 ytv is not the same. afther 2007 thats when ytv started loseing its magic.

Just blasting this as background noise on my TV as I have a midlife crisis. xD

I grew up with Beasties/Beast Wars and Reboot,but there is one particular show that I grew up that isn't on the compilation,and that is Goosebumps. Goosebumps for me,is legendary. The Haunted Mask is forever nostalgic.

Seems to be spliced from different periods; there were two commercials for Beast Machines, each with a different day of the week. There were also ads for The Road to El Dorado(March 31, 2000) and The Emperor's New Groove(December 15, 2000), so at least this all seems to be from that year. I can't recall them playing the Short Circuitz segments this late(and without the titles), but to be fair, I was like 14.

Also, as far as I can recall, YTV always aired Beast Wars with the "Beasties" opening, so seeing the former here is strange.

Nostalgia overload! Reboot, Beasties/Beast Wars!. YTV everyday and Fox on saturdays were everything! I would swap between channel 25 (YTV) AND 36 (Fox) constantly. Especially depending on who was playing Dragon Ball Z. Some of the best days of my life.

Noticing there are short circuitz segments between commercials. Recording looks like it was from the early 2000s, but I honestly have no memory of those segments playing outside of the 90s. Mind blown.

I wonder what a "no Cable TV just smartphone" Gen Alpha kid's reaction to sitting through this would be... Would be even better if it was from a few years before this (I'm guessing this is from the year 2000, going by the commercials), with the PJ segments like The Zone with Phil and Snit. But I'm really glad this has Short Citcutz, even tho they no longer are introduced as "Short Circutz" and just show the shorts on their own.

From what I can remember, Its was originally Beasties then somehow got changes to Beast Wars a few years before Beast Machines came out. Not sure what happened there. The film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is coming out in June, it's essentially the film adaptation of Beasties.

I'm guessing this is from early 2000...or not everything is random holy crap was that John Astin in that episode of The New Addams Family? (hey how did that end up on OutTV?) I didn't need to look at the credits I took a good look at him and thought "oh so they did get one of the original cast members here" Pokemon got a musical, now I'm seen everything I thought they stopped showing the short circuitz stuff in 1998

yeah its from year 2000. the new kids today will never know what old ytv was. if anything will say its lame because they grew up with smart phones. im happy i lived in a time without phones.

I noticed now a days there hardly airing any dreamworks movies anymore now a days i wonder why also?

Is there a time frame for when this was recorded? Didn't know beast wars would be still aired as recently as Danny Phantom being a current show at the time.

there is a commercial for the gameboy color game Pokemon: Gold & Silver which was released October 15th 2000 in North America. There is also a commercial for Diablo 2 which released June 28th 2000. I was in the 5th grade when these shows and games were out. How time flies.

“Mom! Jamie cut me in half again!” I always hated that commercial as a kid. I saw it lots during Tiny Toon Adventures, Ren and Stimpy and SpongeBob. That commercial should have its audio replaced with Try Honesty by Billy Talent, or it should just be pulled off of KZread! We don’t want to hear that magician’s sister screaming her head off!
