The perfect video I was looking for!! I’m buying my first bag for my birthday. I’ve been eyeing this exactly one! I hate that they had a price increase, but I guess I rather buy it now before it increases more in the future 😂

@@HelloLuxe You are so right about ALL of the info you gave about your experience/expertise with this bag. Long story short, my friend lives in a state tax free on handbags, I had her pick me up toy loulou now I haven't got the chance to see the bag, when it arrived it had leather stretch marks and It was dusty as if it was a display bag! However I contacted the boutique from where it was purchased & they sent me a new one but it is non adjustable strap like the first. I've asked if they had the adjustable strap but I was told they do not carry that option but online ysl they do... the length isn't bad but it would be nice to have that option of adjustment. Anyway long story now haha def check out the bag in person before buying!

@@audreyyy3365 oh no, I’m sorry you had to run around in circles! And yes that’s why I made this video because I feel like nobody was talking about how many versions of the bag are floating on the internet and how no website tells you which version it is so you just have to look at pics. I’m surprised YSL itself is still selling both versions at the same price when there’s clearly an upgraded/updated version. Hope you’re able to get the exact one you’re looking for!

Hi I just purchased this bag prior to price increase at Net-a-Porter.But the one I received strap is not adjustable. It’s just one length strap.Is this correct?

I wished I got this bag a year ago because now it’s $1850 😮 it’s such a cute one! I ordered one but had to return it since they sent me a used bag 😔

I got it right after the price increase last year and at the time I was lowkey upset that I just missed it but looking at the prices now I’m so glad I bought it! and oh no that’s terrible, hope you have better luck and can get yourself a new one. I also did see that overseas dept stores that can ship to the US have it for lower if you wanted to give that a try (Selfridges and Harrods for example)

I don’t have an iPhone 11 Pro Max but I don’t believe it fits, at least not comfortably (you might have to remove your phone case)

ah interesting that they’re still selling the second version as the newest one has been out for almost a year. I do like the bag overall as it’s very light and functional for me (I have the smaller iPhone). However I never use it with the strap it came with as I’m on the shorter side and like my crossbody bags to sit higher. I always use it with other straps - I’ll also be doing another video on other strap alternatives so keep an eye out for that video if you’re interested (just waiting on my other straps to be delivered!)

@@jennypark2019 hey Jenny, sorry your YSL Toy Loulou didn’t work out for you, but I recently posted a video of alternatives and I think there’s a great alternative where you can get a similar look/leather feel of the Loulou for a fraction of the price. It’s also larger so just wanted to let you know!

I want to buy this bag from Selfridges but I can't tell by the picture if it will be the adjustable version .

There’s a few on Selfridges so not sure which one you’re referring to. If it has an inner pocket at the middle compartment it is adjustable. Other than that if it doesn’t then your best bet would be to see if you can tell is the description and if it says adjustable there. It might also help to Google the color and see if it’s a current color as that would mean that it’s likely adjustable. Hope that helps!

I heard in another video that the adjustable one is the toy Loulou. The other one is called mini loulou. I’ve never seen the mini one anywhere though- so I’m not sure either.
