I like my crossbody bags to sit a bit higher (above my hip), so I actually think it’s a little too long for my preference. So at 5’5” I think it could work well for you. Chase Amie has some great videos reviewing the small Lou Lou and I think she’s about your height, if that helps!

Thanks so much for reviewing the taupe color! I was debating between this and dark beige in the store and went with taupe. But it looks much darker now that I’m home and not in the bright lights of the store! How easy do you find this color to match with outfits? Would it be good year round? Do you think it could work with black? Wanting to use this as an every day bag!

I find the colour really easy going - I wear a lot of black and it goes really well. But it definitely goes well too with most other colours I wear. It’s for sure an everyday bag for me! I also prefer the darker tone vs the beige, because I don’t want to stress about colour transfer.

I haven’t seeing dark beige in person, but based on other KZread videos, I’d say taupe is darker, and a bit more of a pink undertone

I got this in Black and gold hardware as my 1st designer bag. Absolutely worth it! Love it

Nope, I haven’t had any colour transfer issues so far, and I’ve worn the bag with jeans and dark clothes.

Ive been going back and forth with the black loulou with either the gold or silver hardware. I really want it be a year round everyday bag. I never thought about the taupe but Seeing it now I feel like it’s definitely a bag that will be used year round and will go with everything. I’ll definitely ask my sales associate and see if they have this color to show me as well!

I’ve been reaching for the taupe lots this summer - it’s nice to have a lighter option than black leather bag. But I can see me using it a lot in the winter too when I’m wearing heavy black coats!

Can’t go wrong with either choice! I think silver is more casual, so can be more versatile for day and night.

Black is a great staple, but this taupe is so unique - it’ll be hard to find this colour in any other bag! Glad you love it and congrats on the new bag 🥰

Ooh yay! The taupe truly goes with absolutely everything in my closet. Except for if I’m actually wearing taupe, then it just seems like too much haha
