I'm going to be honest, recent designer releases have been lackluster to me. Everything that I've tried smells so similar. This generic sweet woody ambery vibe seems to have taken over.

Looking forward to see what this is like. The last time I went to Dillards I’ve noticed the prices for designers have elevated lol. That ADG Parfum price had me scratching my head 😂. Great 1st impression.

@mr.mcclain9917 you would be right there is a biannual price increase with most retailers that customers are completely unaware of. The first price increase is always after the New Year in January, sometimes February second price increase always is in July and August. I hope this is helpful...

thats because its a parfum concentration. Parfums are usually more expensive than EDT/ EDP

Hey bud I agree it’s nothing groundbreaking smells like other stuff. After smelling it a 2nd and 3rd and 4th time it reminds me of like a base of y le Parfum freshened up and more unisex (no apple tho) mixed with lhomme libre and LNDL cardamom. I get the lavender and cardamom more in the drydown. But I def like it it’s gonna be very mass appealing. It has that class warmth and spice of LNDL and the warm floral tone from lhomme libre again mixed with the aromatics and sweetness from le parfum. Great video Keep up the great work

It’s nothing really that you would expect based on what IFragrance put it’s two types of bergamot orange blossom patchouli and ambroxafin (not sure what that is maybe a type of Ambroxan). But they removed it so I’m not sure if it’s fully correct because I also get lavendar and a fruity tone and cardamom and maybe some ginger

Man oh Man Dedrick, I was in Nordstroms and they had bottles I sprayed it in the air then on skin....and it is different in a really good way!! I watched Gentlemens journey and he said it smells like the YSL line...I may pull the trigger in September this be in my Splackah Repertoire...

no! I have no socials except youtube (if that counts) but you have to answer a bunch of questions about yourself. They ask at one point whether you're willing to post reviews on social media, I said no. So I only get invited to review products that require an in-app review only. @@banks4115

YSL Y EDP …I dislike it. Myself has that YSL sweetness, but it has a very intoxicating dry down. I absolutely love this one.

I tried this today and got a sample of it also for further testing. I can clearly say that I like this one, but as a always, I will wait until the grey market.

I don’t think any of us should be expecting anything groundbreaking from elite designers like YSL. They can’t afford to miss and groundbreaking fragrances I think can be too polarizing to be the immediate crowd pleasers that the YSL Dior Chanel’s of the world have to release

The best bet would be to sample both bro.. but from my opinion.. if you love the Y DNA the le parfum is the smoothiest & most mature of the line and it’s my favorite. MYSLF has similarities to the y line while displaying a different vibe. More white floras, I like it tho

I smelled this yesterday at Dillards, and it’s a hot mess. It’s not smooth in quality, it’s definitely a night time scent, for the cooler weather, probably why it’s being dropped in August, ahead of the fall weather. But like the dark black bottle, this scent to me screams night time… *sigh*… it’s loud, and nothing impressive. I guarantee you have something already in your collection that does exactly what this is purposed for, that you like better than this here. It’s a dud, in my opinion, who okay’d this? Where did they get there research from? . And that price point is a joke!. Am I too harsh???
