@@freyaladel9222 Learn to spell geographic area you refer to. There was never a country named Palestine, there is no ethnicity called Palestinians, that's how the people of different ethnical backgrounds living in the area (majority - Jews) were called (until 1960s). There was no independent Arab countries like Lebanon or Jordan or Iraq eithter btw.

The original film:"Jewish life in Palestine", ( 70 minutes) was produced in 1913 in: Russian, German and Hebrew (inter titles). Unfortunately, I could not raise contribution to make additional language versions. This year we are marking 100 years of this film - I hope to find a small budget for English and French, and maybe other languages.

Historical films allow us to see life through special angles in different places. It teaches us important details about what was filmed. Yet, you have to remember that a lot was not filmed, so the truth is only partially revealed and visible to us today. By distributing historical films I hope to inspire a sense of nostalgia.

Those who try to draw absolute conclusions are wrong. Life today looks different and historians will continue to define the versions of past and present realities that suit them at the moment. Interpretations and responses that try to prove that the situation today must be different from those we see in the past, will not change the future. Better we should try to live better with what we have, and try to fix what we can for a better life.

+Lucky Lui There is no such thing as "Palestinians" If Palestine is a state, I expect you to be able to answer a few basic questions about her: 1 . When it was founded and by whom? 2. What were its borders? 3. What was its capital? 4. What were the major cities? 5. What consisted of basic economy? 6. What shape was wearing her government? 7. Are you able to name at least one Palestinian leader before Arafat? 8. Will Palestine ever recognized by a country whose existence, at one time or another, does not leave any room for interpretation? 9. What was the language of the State of Palestine? 10. What was the prevalent religion in the state of Palestine? 11. What was the name of its currency? Choose any date. What was the approximate exchange rate of the currency against the US Dollar Palestinian, German mark, British pound, Japanese yen or Chinese yuan? 12. Since there is no such country today, what caused its destruction and when did this happen? You bemoan the "slow decline" of the country, "the former proud". When exactly was the "state" is proud and what was her pride? 13. Are the people you mistakenly call "Palestinians" are something that only Arabs G'nrim gathered from all sides or thrown out of the Arab world? Do they really have a genuine ethnic identity that gives them the right to self-determination? Why had not tried to gain independence until Arabs suffered a devastating defeat in the Six Day War?

Jerusalem was united 100 years ago, and thus was documented in the film "Jewish Life in the Land of Israel". The film was found and restored in 1998 in collaboration between the CNC Film Center in France and the Jerusalem Cinematheque. And was first shown at the Jerusalem Film Festival on The Israel Transport Festival. Because the film was prepared for the 11th Professional Zionist Congress. Conducted in Vienna, the view of the Arab population in Jerusalem is limited. (Another film filmed that year for the mission does not refer to Muslims and Jews, so that no one in his faith will live...). Although the most important film from this period was found 15 years ago, no budget has yet been found or contributes to the production of linguistic versions that will allow its distribution. Today, a digital conservation action is also needed that will upgrade its quality to HD users and the higher qualities available on the plane

Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Iraqis, etc. Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9 per cent of the Middle East lands. Israel represents one-tenth of one per cent of the landmass. But that is too much for the Arabs. They want it all. And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today... No matter how many land concessions the Israelis make, it will never be enough. Joseph Farah, Myths of the Middle East; Let us hear what other Arabs have said: There is no such country as Palestine. Palestine is a term the Zionists invented. There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria. Palestine is alien to us. It is the Zionists who introduced * Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, Syrian Arab leader to British Peel Commission, 1937. There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not * Professor Philip Hitti, Arab historian, 1946. It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but Southern Syria * Representative of Saudi Arabia at the United Nations, 1956 Concerning the Holy Land, the chairman of the Syrian Delegation at the Paris Peace Conference in February 1919 stated: The only Arab domination since the Conquest in 635 AD hardly lasted, as such, 22 years. The preceding declarations by Arab politicians were issued before 1967 as they had not the slightest knowledge of the existence of any Palestinian people. How and when did they change their mind and decide that such people existed? When the State of Israel was reborn in 1948 the Arabs had still not discovered that ancient people. They were too busy attempting to annihilate the reconstituted sovereign State of Israel, and did not intend to create any Palestinian entity, but only to distribute the seized Jewish lands among the already existing Arab states. The Arab armies were miraculously defeated by a tiny handful of Jewish defenders. The Arabs attempted again to destroy Israel in 1967, and were humiliated in only six days, in which they lost the lands that they had previously stolen and usurped in 1948. Those lands included Judea and Samaria, which comprise the biblical and ancestral Jewish heartland, tracing its history back some 4,000 years.

+Lior S The name Palestina was a name that the Romans bestowed on the province of JUDEA - the province of JUDEA and where, they ask is Judea? It was the land of the Jews....the same land now called the West Bank since about 1967 and which the Palestinians claim as their historic homeland, “Palestina” in history before the Romans gave that new hated name to the province of Judea. This fact was admitted by Professor Philip Hitti, an ARAB historian who declared, “There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not.” This fact is further confirmed by the Saudi Arabia Representative at the United Nations. “It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but Southern Syria.” Source: The Muslim Issue (ARAB) Hamas Minister of the interior and of National Security, Fathi Hammad admits: Who are Palestinians? Palestinians don’t come from Palestine” You can check this out on Egypt TV Al-Hekma in March 2012. Zahir Muhsein - executive member of PLO told Dutch newspaper Trouw and I quote “The ‘Palestinian people’ do not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel.” We know how much they like Walid Shoebat who was a former (ARAB) PLO terrorist and who recognized the lie, said “Why is it that on June 4th 1967 I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian? … We considered ourselves Jordanian until the Jews returned to Jerusalem. Then all of the sudden we were Palestinians. They removed the star from the Jordanian flag and all at once we had a Palestinian flag.” (ARAB) Huaran, Tewfik Bey el Hurani admitted way back as 1935 that 30,000 Houran Syrians (SYRIANS) moved to Palestine - note that they were Syrians, not Palestinians. Then we come across the British colonists who in 1930 tried to prevent “illicit immigration’ to stop illegal Arab immigration from neighboring Arab countries. In 1922-1936 from Palestine Royal commission Report, quote ““This illegal immigration was not only going on from the Sinai, but also from Transjordan and Syria.” Our very good friend PM Winston Churchill, in 1939 quote ““far from being persecuted, the Arabs have crowded into the country and multiplied till their population has increased more than even all world Jewry could lift up the Jewish population.” And of course there was also Mark Twain’s observations, but his historical facts are as feeble as Herodotus. In 1960 (ARAB) King Hussein of Jordan stated quote: “Since 1948 Arab leaders have approached the Palestine problem in an irresponsible manner….They have used the Palestine people for selfish political purposes. This is ridiculous and, I could say, even criminal.” (ARAB) Hafez Assad the father of present tyrant told Yasser Arafat, quote: ““You do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one point:There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity, and there is only Syria.”

Lior S What have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Sidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? (Joel 3:4a = 4:4a Heb) The people shall hear, and be afraid; sorrow shall take hold of the inhabitants of Palestina. (Exod 15:14) Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina ... (Isa 14:29a) Howl, O gate; cry, O city, thou whole Palestina, art dissolved. (Isa 14:31a)

    1. During the 1700s by Zahir al Umar. 2. All of Palestine except Hebron district and the Negev, but also including half of lebanon (all the way to beirut). 3. Acre/Akko. 4. Tiberias, Akko, Haifa, Nazareth, Jerusalem, and the Galilee region. 5. Cotton trade with the west. 6. It was a kingdom. 7. Zahir al Umar, Abdel-Qadir al Husseini, Abd al Rahim al Hajj Muhammad, want more? 8. It's agreed on by historians that this kingdom existed, but this kingdom was surrounded by enemies of which all wanted a piece of it, so how come would they recognize it? 9. Didn't have an official language. 10. Islam. 11. Currency was ottoman. 12. The king was killed and his enemies destroyed the kingdom. 13. No, I'm anti-Arabism, so I don't believe is such falcities as Palestinians being from the Arabian Peninsula. Palestinians have their own culture and history but thanks to over 100 years of lies about Palestinians being Arabian, the outcome should be easily expected. If Palestinians were gathered from all over the Arab world how come their have their own dialect? Their own culture? And Palestinians did try to gain independence before the 6 day war, Jordan was not any better than Israel, both are occupiers and the Palestinians wanted both out. There were many rebellions or revolts against the Jordanians, two towns even managed to free themselves for a week or two before Jordan took them back through violent means. But I have a question for you? Who would an indeginous people need to even have a country histrically to get the right of independence? Do you get how stupid your questions are? It's like telling a Native American that he does not belong in America because he didn't build his own country there. Oh and the Palestinian kingdom I'm talking about was an autonomous regime which was basically a state within a state in the ottoman empire, historians tend to call it a "little kingdom" or a "miniature kingdom".

It was horrific time of persecution of Jews and Christians, including countless massacres of Jews in Hebron, Safed, tiberias, Jerusalem and Syria. However, as Jews were always majority in Jerusalem, the life was more tolerable there. My father family comes from Jerusalem. Back than, Jews could only dream to have such rights as Muslim Arabs have today in Israel.
