I hope she's in a good place and still selling ice cream if that's her passion. she deserved some justice that day and sadly there will never be an investigation as to why the traffic cop denied to test Morgan, why she knew that one officer and her "D.A" friend.

Normally they only throw you on the ground in order to gain control of your arms because you're fighting them--resisting arrest. No resisting, no being thrown on the ground. I do agree though, and I understand her frustration, although "I'm gonna kill me a b*tch" is pretty extreme.

I said that because she's a black woman with a gun and license and she would've been drunk and pissed off if the situation was reversed. every says racism has dwindled but I see it quite a lot down here in south Louisiana.

It wasn’t the “two women” who couldn’t stop arguing, it was the unstable drunk who couldn’t be controlled!

So the officer knows she’d been drinking, was still affected by alcohol, and told her to get a ride out of there so she doesn’t get into trouble. Such BS.

Wow… I can feel the hurt in the woman’s voice. She KNEW they wouldn’t back her up and they didn’t. What a disappointment as Morgan laughs and giggles with the other officers.

That said, it's unlikely they'd have done anything anyway. It's Florida and she was a white woman with friends on the force and the DA's office, so Zackevia stood not chance of getting any justice in this situation. Sadly she should have just saved herself time and tears and drove off to leave Intoxicated Morgan to back over someone's dog or child.

From the time the video was taken until the police arrived the youtuber was NOT driving(she was only driving at the beginning of the incident) and could have downed a gallon of vodka. There was no way to prove she was drunk at the time the video was taken. Any lawyer would argue this(or something similar) and charges would be dropped... therefore wasting more $ and time on a losing case.

So they gave her a pass on drunk driving? Awesome. 👎

I’m born and raised in Florida and those cops couldn’t have been more wrong! In Florida all the cop has to witness is you sitting in the driver seat with the keys in the ignition running, which she was clearly doing right on their body cam footage, that’s automatic probable cause to make someone do DUI tests. They just didn’t want to. A cop ran me through field sobriety test one night because I was sitting in the driver seat with the keys in the ignition. It wasn’t even running. I was not drunk so I was free to go but……..make it make sense!

It's easy to make sense of when you realize the video the black woman has is useless? It probably shows an angry woman driving, but no proof of intoxication at that time as in the actual drinking or open container of alcohol. All the officers who arrive on scene see is a parked vehicle with no keys in the ignition and a potentially intoxicated person. Sobriety tests would prove she is intoxicated but no proof of when she drank. The cop explains she could have drank it after she parked and before they arrived, that scenario is reasonable doubt that would get any DUI charge thrown out, so they don't pursue it. Keys in the ignition while sitting in the drivers seat though is considered "operating" as that is basically one step before actually driving. The law is written that way to include up to that point.

@@djsi38tin florida if you have your keys in your hand it’s considered DUI. it’s called “being in physical control of the vehicle” aka the ability to get in and drive. that means if you’re in the car with keys in hand even if the engine is off it can be DUI. source: 2021 florida statues section 193: “A person is guilty of the offense of driving under the influence and is subject to punishment as provided in subsection (2) if the person is driving or in actual physical control of a vehicle within this state”

Man, that’s wild. Those cops did ZERO to stop that insane woman. Edit: I’m usually in support for law enforcement, but this was unacceptable. These officers could have easily charged her with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, or even disturbing the peace. The cop clearly knew she was intoxicated. He told her she couldn't drive and she responded that she knew. Lazy cops.

​@@Imjusthere-444in Florida, all you have to have as the operator of the vehicle is actual physical control of the vehicle (having the keys and sitting in the car), and an unlocked opened container (broken seal and not locked in a trunk or glovebox). They had enough to arrest her even if they didn't witness a traffic violation. They also had proof of disturbing the peace. But they didn't because they were biased and because the other lady called them out on said bias.

Because there is no way to prove she was drunk while she was driving. There is probably a good 10 minutes between the time of her driving and the time the police showed up. She could have drank plenty in that time. It is likely she was drunk before. I completely agree with that, but she could easily get off by saying she drank while waiting for the police. There would be absolutely nothing they could say or do to prove she was lying. The sergeant explained it in this video and I’m personally frustrated that EWU framed this as if the police did something wrong here

Don't blame the cops for not charging that women. Blame the criminal justice systems legal burden of proof of reasonable doubt. No way for them to prove without doubt that she drove while drunk. If an arrest was made defense attorneys would get that shit thrown out in an instant and it would open the department to a wrongful arrest lawsuit.

If this police officer is still working, then I don’t know what’s wrong with that entire force.

The sergeant explained it though if you listen to their conversation. From the time the video was taken until the police arrived the youtuber was NOT driving(she was only driving at the beginning of the incident) and could have downed a gallon of vodka. There was no way to prove she was drunk at the time the video was taken. Any lawyer would argue this(or something similar) and charges would be dropped... therefore wasting more $ and time on a losing case.

The reason she is not afraid of cops in this one is because the first time she had a run in with cops, they let her go, no charges.

I thought you could be arrested for DUI if you are in the possession of keys and are in the vehicle, even if it was parked. Perhaps not in Florida?

Kudos to whoever got this footage. Crazy they let her off a DUI and let her tamper with evidence. Call the department and complain.

I feel for the ice cream lady. The cops are making it more difficult because of the preferential treatment of the youtuber. They are really going to cause people to snap.

Like the officer said, they can’t. Many factors such as just downing a bottle after the fact to name just one. No one likes a drunk driver but it would have been a violation if they had breathalyzed her when they showed up.

She was arrested a few months ago. A guy was allowing her to stay with him, it got so bad he had to sleep in his car. Cops came she refused to leave and was arrested.

I don’t think she felt threatened, I think she was angry and wanted the woman that was nasty to her for no good reason to pay. She didn’t come off as scared when the police got there, she was animated and angry. If she had been truly scared for her life she would’ve pulled her gun out. Now, that being said, I do feel for her. That Morgan is a piece of work and I have no doubt she went out of her way to make trouble and upset her. Sometimes in life you’re going to come up against obnoxious, bad people, and the best course of action is to ignore them and move on with your day and don’t let it drag you down.

@@catchifyoucan232 no, she felt threatened for two reasons. One, the fact she would even need to pull the gun out and two, the messed up consequences she would’ve had for pulling it out. Knowing that you can’t be angry or even viewed as feeling threatened because everyone assumes you’re so tough and can handle things yourself is a feeling that can’t be explained. You just have to experience it. Her shaking is not just a response of “I’m so angry at what she did”. There are layers to it most ppl in this comment section don’t care to acknowledge. Calling the cops and trying to do the right thing but knowing deep down they won’t do anything to protect you, knowing if you do react and the cops are called they won’t hesitate to escalate the situation and make you the aggressor, all on top of the original feeling is a lot. Look at how ppl are jumping down her throat for having a natural response of anger to the situation. As if she can’t have that and has to be be 100% perfect and not human. You have ppl basically saying because of her “attitude” the cops didn’t need to do anything.

She'd be better off taking her to People's Court. She'd at least get money if she won her case, and not have to pay an attorney. The bar to prove infliction of distress is high in court, too.

Miss Z, the ice cream lady, is 100% right in this video. I'm pretty sure that cop just let the dog lady throw away, incriminating evidence with the beer can in the cup holder suddenly disappearing. I hope she did file a complaint because the other lady is sitting behind the wheel of her truck while intoxicated that alone is probable cause for a dui investigation.

PLEASE they arrest people on LESS! She could have been charged with public intoxication, DUI, Disorderly Conduct or obstruction for hiding the beer can. The young woman is rightfully upset, if this was the other way around she would have been arrested. These cops are lazy and they should have done testing …the full 9 yards! You get what you put out.. the traffic cop was on his way to to fst's and the black girl was assuming police were being biased as she has no idea that these guys aren't trained for fst's.. The youtuber was abhorrent and a nasty "B", but the other girl should have held her composure from slander and defamation toward 3 different responding officers that were being super nice..

Where I live, if you are drunk, AND holding car keys, and are anywhere NEAR your vehicle, you get auto charged for impaired. You can't even be drinking on your front porch, with your car stereo playing music, with the keys in your pocket and if by chance , a cop stops & investigates, YOU are screwed. In Ontario, they don't put up with even a hint of drunks even thinking about driving. It's a bit of stretch, but that's how it is. Being drunk with car keys in your hands is a real big no no up here...don't even think of taking a nap in your car until it 'wears off'...you STILL get charged if they catch you.

Wow. This is terrible policing. How has nobody tired on her behalf to investigate that office. Smh
