I remember way back when, 2013 or 2014, Pewds actually had his own app for videos. But watching his videos on KZread was just a much smoother, better experience than a clunky smartphone app. Thinking back to it now, though, maybe it was a step in the right direction. Watching old letsplays, not just of pewds, it feels so refreshing to hear people swear, express their opinions openly and just have fun. Nowadays everywhere is a minefield.

There is multiple attempt from multiple huge youtuber to move on a platform and try to switch sides. The biggest ones was vidme. But KZread or more precisely Google Adsense, just killed the whole site by denying their ads service. The only KZread alternatives that remotely successful AND being used by the creators are Curiositystream and that other scientific streaming site that I forgot the name. Even then, the site goes purely by donations since they can't run any ads anymore.

The last part makes pewdipie sound like the illuminati

I didn't get to be a part of this. It's been almost a year that I started watching PewDiePie. I was really sad and depressed and to cope up with it I thought I should give it a try and here I am now, watched more than a hundred of his videos and I am still not tired. His videos are really entertaining. They helped me through alot and always uplifted me in those tough times and I am really thankful

Welcome on this wild ride. I myself am an old fan, since 2012 in fact. I’ve seen Felix change, morph, reach his highs and lows, and become number one for the first time (surpassing Smosh, who were the number one KZread channel in terms of subs back in the day). But let me tell you, it is never too late to join on this journey. Even if Pewds is more relaxed and realized now, there will always be new things happening (good and bad). Have fun watching!

Man. Despite some of the things Felix said/done, I always had a soft spot for him. Of course I’d never agree with the bad stuff, but this man helped me become the person I am today. His humor imprinted on me and the games he played helped me become more and more curious about creativity. I’ll always respect him for doing that. I’m proud of how far he’s gotten.

Now Pewds is retired. He mainly does reactions to keep his channel alive in case he ever wants to do a real video, but when he does, he barely gets 2 million views. Which, yeah, is a lot, but not for him. It’s sad, man.
