    OH MY GOD. That little girl looks EXACTLY like mine. I had to watch that part a few times but she really does and it's creeping me out and making me sweat. It's freakish. Anyway, great video, really helpful ideas. I've a really small space but the idea of shooting in a corner seems like an excellent and one I think will work for me. I record in a small bedroom using my mobile which is on a ring light. I'm also going to try facing the light against the wall and see how well that works. Thanks again.

    One thing that a lot of KZreadrs don't understand that the growth of a channel takes time. Nothing happens overnight and you're gonna need to nurture your channel like a plant. You need to water it daily, provide sunshine, and most importantly, have patience! 👌🏻

  • @wesleyvanpeer1988

    @wesleyvanpeer1988

    Very beautifully said and I couldn't agree more! Patience is definitely a key factor. That's why you gotta be doing this because you love doing it. If you're doing it for other reasons, like making a "quick buck", most will be disappointed. Much love for all creators out there!

    Great points, some things I did to maximize space: Falcon Eyes Mat Light, really thin and gives me so much more space. (I started with a ring light). Black out curtains to prevent light leaking in and make sure my light is consistent. Low aperture lens, nifty 50! The blur helps make it look more like a studio. Throw some light on the wall as well! Finally, I use the Manfrotto magic friction arm and clamp to attach my camera to my desk! Such a space saver. Attach as much to your desk as possible. Need that floor space.

    Some boxy rooms have sound bouncing off the walls. It is another reason to consider how much room you have behind you and whether you need sound absorption materials. You can get a fairly cheap mover's blanket, decorate it the way you want and hang it on a wall. It my experience, it can really improve your sound.
