It’s crowded, but there are still things that KZread offers that others don’t. Tutorials for example are entirely absent from Netflix. KZread has an immediacy too. News breaks and videos are seen here.

Tik Tok and X have become competition for KZread. Rumble too. I am not a creator but I would go for a larger spread of platforms. Some people have really found popularity randomly without having to compromise much. Either that or befriend Joe Rogan lol.

Most the people who are excelling on newer platforms have done so through association. You can’t grow on Rumble, but you can divert a large enough KZread following to it provided Joe Rogan tells them. There are people who have made their space on TikTok, but it’s not a format I care for, especially the dancing. 😬

@@VaughnJogVlog One guest appearance can really change everything. Like Brendan Schaub. There are smaller examples with other creators. Superchats seem to be an easy way to get a channel advertised.

I can see it. Haven’t gotten that one before.

You know, there's one benefit to this type of situation. We can put away our tech and sit down to think of all kinds of philosophical questions like: Are fame and money even good for you? Or are my cats doing great with the new pole I just brought for them? Anyway, I think I'm done with this culture and ready to move on from social media. I know it's super selfish for me to say this but good luck for the younger generation because social media will only drag them further and further into the sh*thole of virtual life.

@@VaughnJogVlog I believe more and more people will keep themselves away from social media, just like me. But I can't stop thinking about how much pain they will inflict further especially on the younger generation until it is stopped by someone.
