In 1975 Runa went to Bombay when Lata mangeshker heard her she asked organisers in Music Industry to send her out of Indaia as Lata got scared of her voice and felt a threat to her.

ম্যাডাম, জীবনের সেই শুরুতে পাকিস্তানে প্লে - ব্যাক এ এই গানটা গেয়েছিলেন। সেদিনের রেকর্ড টা আর আজকের রেকর্ড টা পাশাপাশি বাজিয়ে দেখবেন। সেদিনের মিউজিকের এত রমরমা অবস্থা ছিলনা, ছিলনা রঙিন ফিল্ম এবং আজকের মত আপনার পোষাক এর জৌলুষ, কিন্তু সেদিন গলায় যে জৌলুষ ছিল, তা কি আজ আছে?

Look how urdu brought fame and fortune for Bengali people like her Shabnam Rehman Robin Ghosh musleh ud din and many more and they still enjoy popularity across both the countries due to the Urdu language which they hated most perhaps still hate! This is a thankless attitude of bengalis for which they are paying the price by making Bangladesh a hub of women trafficking and prostitution!
