I will say that it is better than 2018 as well, not just because nothing (apart from 2019 onwards) could be worse than 2018, but because of this one to some extent was sub-par, to say the least. Quite hard to summarise.

2018 rewind definetly could've been better but the theme couldn't be anything else since fortnite was talked about each week during that time and this isn't the fault of the team but of the people that made those cringe trends I'm kinda happy they don't make them anymore since it would all just be cringe yt shorts trends and nothing else

To be fair KZread is bigger than ever. There are soooo many youtubers that are popular in their own rights and you just wouldn’t be able to add them all. BUT I also agree that KZread is really weird with how they pick sometimes. There’s people that have had huge subscriber counts forever and had surged in the past couple years and still aren’t on KZreadRewind

This bar was set so low, the fact is that rewind 2018 is the limbo king. Edit: I found my coment I made when this thing came out and I said that this rewind was youtube playing limbo at the center of the earth. And 2018 is even lower..... man. (Edited again for some spelling mistakes)
