Or it could be that KZread sucks when experiencing high traffic but they'll blame the user's computer or their poor internet speeds instead of owning up to the website being slow.

yes, i think so. Even though i have premium (and 100Mbit internet connection) they automatically set bad quality to save their network bandwidth. In Taskmanager there is only used 20-25% of my possible internet speed. And speedtest and other large downloads are stable at 95Mbit or higher

Guys if you’re having a recent issue with KZread and have an ad blocker that’s why, at least for me. Once I shut the ad blocker off I was fine and stopped running rlly slow

Nah, I blame Google like all unaccountable, monopolistic corporations whose poor standards we consumers are conditioned and expected to accept. Those who could solve the problem hide behind keyboards, bureaucracy, automated phone systems, corporate lawyers, and unqualified staff. Not enough consumers complain to make a difference. Poor service? Take my money! That's the American attitude-indifference...apathy.

Not this consumer, I haven't been "conditioned" to accept shit. I sued Google and KZread because of issues and got a phone call from the Google legal office the day after I filed. Not that they were worried, but as a greedy corporation the idea of losing even tiny amounts of money for legal penalties to one measly customer is against everything they're made of. Big corporations have big egos.

broo im getting 2gbps on wifi and somehow youtube still lags like its running on a pentium on dial up

typing a comment takes foreverfor the characters to appear. clicking something takes forever for the page to change. pausing a video can take up to a whole minute before it pauses. cache is emptied, chrome is updated to the latest, computer also updated to the latest. I have fast internet, no clogging from other user, outside of peak hours. no download, no virus... it's ONLY on youtube. while typing all this might have taken me about 2 minutes, the words won't appear and the comment button wont be possible to click until 5-10 minutes after I started typing. It's only on youtube. nowhere else. I can overload my computer 100 time more and it still doesn't compare to youtube. I reset my routeur and modem, I updated my drivers, deleted every cache AGAIN and it still feel like youtube is made of molasse from 1800 or something. Any idea? The video themselve run fine. they don't take long to load... it's the website... a 2h video loads almost instantly... once the page finished changing that is.

I have the same issues but ONLY with certain videos! YouToogle is just too darn interested in what we say and is constantly trying to stop us from telling any truth they don't agree with, that is, any TRUTH at all!

This started happening to me about 3 days ago. Nothing recommended fixed it. But I literally just googled it and made the search parameters only to one week ago and there was a quick post on Reddit titled "Is KZread slow/lagging for anyone else?". One of the first responses was to stop Adblock running on KZread and to instead use Ublock. So far this seems to have worked, but I've only implemented it for 5 minutes as I type this. It's enough to make a MASSIVE difference though. Good luck

I have the EXACT SAME issues now, started a few days ago. Funny enough any other site works fine. Something is off here, i tried disabling adblock and it didnt make a difference.

my issue with youtube is that i can't type properly and is very slow. My videos don't lag either even on 4k but the page it self loads slower. The options selection of the video is slow as well. And now my system is on load CPU is under 20%, ram is on under 30%(32Gb) and GPU is also under 20% when video is playing or at 1-2% if not. I just have a problem with page in general minus the video playing as they play fine, when i try to pause the video it takes 4-5 secs same as with other options. Edit: i just checked, the issue is only on Opera (my main browser), i cleared the cache/cookies but nothing changed.

Huh, Watching this video made a part of the problem go away somehow? I was about to test the difference of my Opera GX ad blocker on or off for the site when I realized videos don't take forever to load now.

Just typing this comment takes about 4 minutes because it is so comically slow. I typed this full comment but it took 4 minutes for every letter to actually show up on the screen.

Probably even purposefully slow. I wouldn't be surprised if they did that in retaliation to the increasingly amount of viewers using adblockers as retaliation to their increasingly annoying advertisements. But that's just speculation. They could ofc indeed have actual problems, but i wouldn't count on that since i've never experienced anything similar in over 15 years of YT usage in the past.

@@theTF2sniper I got the problem solved. It's your adblocker. Get Ublock Origin and deactivate your other one when using KZread. Ublock is very good. I noticed it can sometimes on certain sites even bypass adblock detection entirely while other adblockers can't. It seems to block pretty much anything and the only exceptions are some small banners which arent disruptive and give money to the websites.

Same problem here as well.

so someone commented disable adblocker and on god it worked my youtube has been very slow even tho i have a amazing pc and very fast internet 1gb it was lagging and alot more so i disabled the adblocker even tho i have youtube premium and bam instantly started working well WTF IS THIS KZread AND GOOGLE

KZread buffers at least 10 times a day. Glad i am not paying for paid version.Nothing wrong with my ISP connection speed, or browser.Have asked them 3 times regarding this issue, and received zero replies.Also have no add blocker on.

Thanks for the information, it helped. I also found that I had drivers for "bluetooth" and "wifi" installed. These were not needed, so I deleted them. much better now.

clearing cache only works temp for me. It's def a chrome thing as works fine in firefox but I don't want to use ff. Will have to till google fix the issue in chrome.

Try unistalling any adblockers extensions you might have it most likely the cause for youtube being slow.

ITS ALL KZread, dont start chaning settings.

my internet upload speed is 31 Mb/s (or 3.8MB/s or 3,875 KB/s) yet youtube KB/s is only going from 200 to 500 KB/s. i can stream on twitch @ 8 Mb/s just fine with the same browser so what gives? don't tell me my internet is shit because it's just fine. and it's wired. not wireless.
