I don't watch live golf, only later through recordings. Skipping commercials and slow play makes it far more enjoyable. In Brooke Hendersons defense, they were keeping up with the other groups, the entire field was slow. Props to Nelly for being a fast player.

24:01 The thing with women's golf is their distances, being similar to what I can hit, makes it obscenely obvious how good they are. It's relatable in that it gives me a point of reference that lets me appreciate their skill far more. So no, not "relatable" but because they're not just driver wedging it around, it can be much more interesting

I watched the Golf bidder match (as I have since they started) and congratulations on your win. I am a 20 handicap golfer (76 years old) so no expert but one thing always sticks out to me is your swing which is so smooth. But Rick always looks like he's trying to kill the ball and the swing doesn't look fluent especially when it comes to chipping around the green. I often think if he slowed down a little he could be better. Like I say only my observation, not knocking.

Wesley Bryan had so much more views at the corales punrtacarna side event than all the players and clips from the RBC Heritage. That shows the reality! People are looking for opportunities to be part of the event - and players like Wesley Bryan or for all his brother George give them the chance therefore, they are like good friends and so fine guys too!

A question for next week's podcast.... was there a leaderboard at Myrtle Beach? Did George know where he stood on 18th tee? If so can you explain his 2nd shot choice on 18, wedge + wedge would have given him the W. Great round by Pete - should be v proud.

The trivia game really needs to be tracked in relation to par. What’s the point of creating a par and measuring in relation to par when at the end of the day, 1 point is just granted to the person who gets the answer quickest?

There's a reason you don't really see channels split front 9/back 9 on each channel anymore. They can see how much money is made per video, so really easy to sort that out if money is a concern. Otherwise the second video just never gets the same viewership. I'd be incredibly surprised if they both weren't in total agreement about what videos go where

For sure it is. If I had an option of watching the masters this year or a Bryan Bros. video I’m watching Bryan Bros. the only thing that would change that is if Rory in contention but unfortunately that’s not a thing too often anymore. PGA has refused to adapt the game as peoples tastes change and people are not that interested in pro golf. I’d much rather see John Rahm on KZread than in a tournament. PGA better wake up make game more fun put players in shorts. Scottie just doesn’t excite me and anybody that can challenge him other than Rory are on LIV now. They have own problem 3 day events and players aren’t sharp anymore and ready for tournament play. Pro golf is a mess. KZread golf makes you smile.

That's because TV golf is so far removed from the common man and what we do. They have coaches, trainers, fitness regimes, hypnotherapists, perfect golf courses, bunkers where the ball rolls back into the middle, instead of rolling up to the front. GC quad on the practice ground where they can see how they just happen to be hitting it that day. Practice for 2 hours before they go out. They barely play in crap conditions like we do because it might affect their game, not to mention they practice day in day out... The list is almost endless. I unsubscribed from Sky Sports a few years ago because I just couldn't be bothered with it.

The official Mertyl Beach content was AWFUL. It was such a shame. They had the idea, got buy in from the PGA and then managed to get KZreadrs to keep quiet about the whole event for a month, only to release a wet fart of a video. It’s honestly some of the most boring golf content I’ve watched in years. I’m looking forward to the creators videos.

The Masters views were down because many people are just sick of listening to the constant childish bias 'LiV vs PGA' hatred the Golf channels keep spewing out. It's tiresome. Lots of people I spoke to were happier just watching the highlights on Monday. Until commentators become neutral and focus on the golf and not their pga scripted opinions, viewers will switch off. I watched it all.. but used the mute button ALOT 😂

Its not a field issue, the pga tour and LIV players are slightly better than most players on YT... I thinknits more an access and coverage issue. Masters coverage is behind a pay wall in the UK, and the coverage is a snooze fest. Watch for 60 minutes and see 15 minutes worth of golf, the adverts, the bulking out talking rubbish in the studio, it's just such a bore fest. YT watch golf for an hour and get 50 minutes of golf... The LIV coverage on YT is miles better than PGA tour coverage. PGA Tour is stuck in a rut with its out of date coverage.

PGA golf TV coverage is unwatchable. I used to look so forward to The Majors, but TV coverage and the associated TV commentary has made TV golf horrid. The last couple of US Opens and now The Masters...so sad. I still have hope for The Open! Anymore, 95% of my golf intake is from KZread (Bryon Bros, Bryson, Pete, Rick,LIV, etc).

I watch KZread golf content but to me it's like watching reality tv. It's generally horseshit and entertainment. NOTHING replaces real golf by real golfers (PGA, LPGA and DP World Tours). LIV (to me) is also like watching the WWE (which I don't, so I don't watch LIV either). I certainly don't watch YT golf content for any instructional advice either because there's no way you (Peteror anyone else on YT) can fix my swing through a video... and I certainly can't accept unsolicited advice, sight unseen. But there's plenty of sucker fish in this YT pond. YT is a passing fad... like MySpace was, like Twitter was, like Facebook was, like TikTok was and KZread will be. It's becoming an oversaturated, content creator wasteland by "content creators" that HAVE no skill, nothing new to say, are in it for the money... because they are too lazy to work a REAL job.
