This movie is essentially 50% of my entire childhood. It came out in 1996, I was only 2 years old then. Happy Gilmore (and Billy Madison, which came out in 1995) are two movies which showed Adam Sandler at his comedy-career peak, and "50 first dates" (2004) was a good one too.

@@commanderjnm2008 I’ve always had this weird soft spot for Adam Sandler movies, I know he’s not regarded as a great film writer or actor by most people but his films just have a specific vibe that hits the spot for me. Maybe it’s nostalgia, who knows, but I enjoy them all.
