dxnisacretu The problem with people calling her too strict is they fail to realize how competitive the industry is. It might seem very strict but trainees gotta put a lot of effort in improving themselves to be the best they can be because it really does make or break them. Not to mention potentially singing and performing on stage is going to be there job if they debut. So they can’t half ass anything.

This makes me understand why Blackpink don’t have leader, because every member can be a leader in different situations. We usually see that Lisa looks like a baby, she can’t be a leader. But, now this video shows us her attitude and her personality that we have never seen before. She’s very intend and help other member in dancing. From this, it proves that she can also be a leader too. Every member in Blackpink can be a leader in different situations. 💕

Like when *Jisoo* , she always be the greatest big sister and comfort the girls whenever they feel down, she makes them laugh and never cry when the other cry because she know if other cry, she can comfort them and not the other way around. She knows have the responsibility. For *Jennie* , she always have this intimidating aura that everyone finds impressive to see. A regal leader aura. She helps with the concert management and suggests a lot of things to them. We all know Jennie is a strict talker, which means she know what's she's saying and stand with her statements. For *Rosé* , she might be the biggest crybaby but when she speaks for the group, we can see the leading aura in her. In any interviews, she responded with leaderlike and understanding tone that makes her an amazing leader. *Lisa* like you said, she the most bubbly and cheerful one in the group, but when things get serious, she gets serious. We never see her like this and it's intriguing us. We can see her intimidating aura very well and that's is lead to being a great leader. BLACKPINK don't have a leader, because they know in each circumstances, they have each other and they can count on one another :)

For all people critisicing Lisa bcs she's strict, she know what shes doin. More than 6 hrs practice may be harsh but she wouldnt recommend it if they've shown her enough to compete others. She said "you need to practice more if you want to compete...you may not have second chance" bcs shes aware of level of competency of each group. They only got one shot. This is survival show, if you are a type of person whose closed to negative criticism then you dont want to learn, you dont belong to the show...

Adding on. She is helping them eliminate mistakes from the start which will benefit them, it may seem harsh but in that industry, she needs to be in order to help them. If mistakes are not caught and eradicated in the beginning, they will become muscle memory along with the rest of the dance, making it harder to correct. You can see this muscle memory in any group (as most of us here for Lisa and are fans of Kpop I'll give two kpop examples of muscle memory I have witnessed): Jihyo of TWICE: TWICE were rehearsing for Feel Special and Jihyo was still getting into position when the music started, as soon as she heard the music she started dancing, even though she was repositioning herself. ITZY: One of the many versions of Wannabe dance practices was a part-switch. All five girls got distracted and flustered during the bridge part, and whilst trying to get back into the rhythm of the song, most of the girls danced their own part instead of the members part they were given.

I love how she uses her native tongue here. It makes me feel that she's not just there to represent blackpink but her country also.

Lisa is strict but she is humble in her teachings, she isn’t afraid to be in lead cause she is capable since trainee days and maybe even before that, she’s just experienced, and said what she thought is necessary for the final performance. hope to see more of her in her element 💜 wish the girls best too

YG training is known to be an excruciating process, she’s simply training them how YG trained her, but I am guessing Lisa is being a kind yet straightforward mentor. 5 years of frustration, blood, sweat and tears, I am going to guess that YG trainers were MUCH more harsh than what she is being in this video since their idols are all, in context of the kpop industry, perfect and well-rounded.

I’m not a BlackPink nor a Lisa solo fan but everytime i see some of their performance in KZread, she always stands out not only because she’s pretty although she is but because her moves are always 200% worthy not that the others are not but you can see how she is totally performing and giving her best. it’s like “every time might be the last time type of performance “ she’s right though, you may not have the second chance.

Imagine hating Lisa She’s a born artist and a made artist. She didn’t stop at being talented, she outdoes herself each time. Not only does she a appeal and talent that some people may never obtain, she also continues working hard. It just really blows my mind and motivates me. And her personality is superior. - It’s been hard for her, and you’ll still see her thrive - Got7’s Jackson and Bambam stood up for her. And if your friends stand up for you even if they themselves might have backlash, that just shows how much of a heart of gold you have. etc.... I forget that Lisa is a PROFESSIONAL, she makes it look so easy when she performs. We tend to forget all the years of hard training she had and still has. #RESPECT

I think she may gets through lots of obstacles under her the training period. I'm not surprise why she is so strict with these contestants because she experienced it before and she knows how to do it best. Form her words "The audience will have only one time to see the show of these contestants. So, they must be shine the most, they must do it with their best" Ps.Her strictness and perfections was inherited from Yang Papa !

Lisa surely knows what she is doing. How she makes sure every detail looks synchronized just proves she is a pro in this. All of this just shows how much she loves dancing that she had mastered it. Girls couldn't have a better dance mentor than Lisa! When she said she used to practice till 3, 4 am just to make sure she progresses more proved how bad she wanted to succeed. So happy she made her dreams a reality. This girl deserves the best. 💜

This is what I've always been saying years ago about Lisa being keen to the tiniest details in her dance execution, unlike other main dancers that love to look powerful with big movements. That's how she caught my attention because she just seems different from others.

lisa is an amazing teacher/mentor. she wasnt rude to the girls but she was straight forward and the girl understood that.

I saw GD and Hanbin in Lisa! Leader behavior. I couldn't imagine how hard it was when she was a trainee. She's a 1st foreigner in the company (ofc, the language barrier. She must have study korean so hard while training cause they won't let her speak english). Still, she had to go to the company for the training, practicing herself till late and also had to teach the other trainee too? Lisa baby, Is it hard? Is there a time that you want to run away or find someplace to rest? I mean...she really reminds me of hanbin tho ;( (I'm not a shipper. I have to say this before someone come to judge me) And the way lisa keep focusing and teaching the trainee is seriously...hanbin. 'You need to work hard. You need to stay late to practice more' OMG...iQIYI...I'm really appreciate you! Thanks for having her and let us see another side of lisa and know more about her. J. Totally agree with you. I saw Hanbin in her too. I've been watching how Hanbin lead his team since WIN and this side of our baby Lisa is exactly the same as Hanbin. Now we know not only the YG boys but YG girls must train to the extremely perfect level of themselves with strictness and perfectionist to become a superior idol. So much respect for them.

Lisa has mentioned before that she want to be in a show like this or a dancing shows but knowing how fck up YG is, YGE sent Lisa to "Real Men" a military show.

Honestly I love LISA's ability to mentor. Seeing other survival shows (especially from personal experience), dance teachers can be quite scary and I always expect scolding to occur. The entire time I watched this clip, I was a lil paranoid because I thought she'd start flipping out like other mentors. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see how blunt, but still somewhat kind towards the trainees. I would really like to see this more often!

This pulled on my heartstrings when i first heard her say it! And it made me love Blackpink as a group even more. Each of them brings something special to the table and all 4 of them fits perfectly together as a group. Lisa embracing this mindset versus thinking of how she could outshine her bandmates. YG’s training is known to be one of the harshest and most excruciating, but even Lisa said something along the lines of, it might be hard, but in the end it’s worth it. Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo and Rosé have gone through blood, sweat and tears to be where they are now. With the strict training they endured, in the end they are in the top 2 most famous Kpop groups and one of the best at that. YG’s training is painful, but that’s what makes their idols perfect and so well-rounded. Maybe she’s a perfectionist because that is what she has concluded from her training, to get what you want you must work hard to be the perfect version of yourself. And the antis still hate them, going through an excruciating emotional and physical phase for their training which is 4 years minimum, to later be hated for 3 years, having bad management. How much this girl has endured worries me, along with the other 3.

When Lisa speaks, you feel that she knows her craft. I hope these trainees learn as much as they can from Lisa. Perfectionist Lisa! The only way to go ❤❤❤

Pink Pepper She’s been dancing for a long time... i have similar feelings towards the position of correcting the mistakes because i had been doing dance for so long... it’s easier to see mistakes in choreo because the moves are usually somewhat recognizable as well

I'm a solid once.. but I really do appreciate Lisa's talent and skills even her personality and charisma.. such a smart, charming and talented girl.. too bad YG wasn't able to promote her talents and group properly.. like he fucking focused on giving them modeling and advertising projects more than giving them more songs and choreography like.. the way the trainees came into the room full of smiles fangirling and then midway through Mentor Lalisa had them sweating bullets lmao Lisa is so intimidating and scary when she's in work mode, I'd cry in her class and still show up the next day because being taught by her is a rare opportunity seeing how Blackpink spends most of the year in the dungeon 😫

I'm so proud of our Lisa who went from a trainee working hard every day with really hard conditions and now she met celebrities went to Coachella and gives this opportunity to other girls I love her so much ❤️❤️❤️

Oh my God Lisa is really the best dance mentor.

I’m no Blink but I can only imagine how proud they are of Lisa and how happy they are to see her thriving (gettin that check 😜😂) and to see her doing something she enjoys doing. And also maybe seeing a new side of her they’ve never seen. All I could think about it how much watching this would touch a Blink’s heart 😂
