I met Mr. Bey several times at the Muslim bakery and mosque on San Pablo avenue in Oakland and I have to say that it was an honor to meet and to listen to the message and the reality of what is really going on in this government and in this system that has us oppressed by our oppressors that wants to keep us all locked up Black and Brown... I was at these meetings and miss Dr. Bey teaching. I'm blessed to have known him and proud to have him as my son's grandfather. He did great things for the community and despite the rumors, he will always have my respect!! RIP Sir

I attended meetings at the bakery and moved away. I never really had personal connections with many of the brothers and sisters. I support the brothers and sisters 200% nothing but love.
