Hi Becky! Have you tried Monsoon recently? They are now doing a 24 and XXL and their sizing can be very generous. They do a few fit and flare dresses which I think would suit you beautifully. My hips are much bigger than my bust and half my dresses are Monsoon, I think they might be good for a haul. If you’re not sure which ones I know will work for you. Xx

I never order anything that is not a natural fibre - cotton, linen or viscose - it’s not an age thing, it’s a comfort thing, especially in somewhere like Greece in the heat!!

There’s so much made in polyester nowadays unfortunately and as a menopausal larger size woman it’s not great That first dress was poor considering it’s £33, loved the blue denim style one but I’d like to see what these button through ones are like when you sit down please The white shirt was huge on you I like the final item but then I’m in my 50s Great video Becky x

Thank you for another great video Becky 😃. I've shopped at Yours Clothing since they first opened and have found recently that their quality has gone down, but their pricing has gone up! Their sizes and cuts of clothing have also become inconsistent. It's a shame, especially when they are really the only (solely) plus size fashion shop that you can find on the high street.

The sold out dress is back in stock because everyone is sending it back. 😉 Does look underwhelming from where I’m sitting. I’d do my gardening or cleaning in it! That cherry blouse is very cute but sizing down would be good. I love it when it’s tied in front.

Thanks for doing the Yours haul Becky. Unfortunately I wasn't keen on any of it. I'm a stickler for long tops but those tops were beyond ridiculous. I want my tops to hide my 'nunn' and that's about it. When they're too long they look dowdy I think. Have a brill holiday. 🙂

Hi Becky, Bit of a hit and miss today. The trousers were huge, i like mine comfortable but i could of got in them with you😅 Like the last dress on you, shame it was polyester. Never thought i would agree and say the the shirt and top were too long. I'm only 5ft2inches would've been round my ankles.😅 More for my age group definitely. I reckon theres a significant risk of the blue midaxi chambray dress showing up perspiration. Something to consider given you're going somewhere really hot. Speaking from experience - I used to have a brown cotton shirt that I loved but couldn't wear it cause I'd arrive at the office with dark sweat marks under the arms!

That polka dot dress goes from navy and white to black and gold for me … it’s hurting my head. 😅

I can just about do a polyester long sleeved shirt in the middle of winter but I don't have any polyester near me in the summer. I actually dislike the feel of it - the worst is the woven fabric that Shein do a lot of their clothes in.

It's such a shame the colourful dress is polyester because it looks amazing on you. I also hate polyester I can't stand the feel of it. Love the black trousers too, I need a pair of comfy trousers.

I never buy anything Polyester, even before I was plus size I felt that it made me sweat, and also feels horrible on the skin especially in hot weather, I also think Yours are quite pricey, I know not every one likes shops like Temu and SHEIN but I’ve found some really lovely summer clothes in cotton and linen, being on a budget they are both ideal for me. Looking forward to pack with me video!

Not the best haul Becky. A lot of the clothes looked quite cheap. The last top would look amazing with white jeans. Would look more trendy then and the length would suit slim but not skinny white jeans. I think George and Tu clothes are better made. You will have a fabulous time cruising the med. Wendy

I thought the floral dress pretty as for everything else it was imho dreadful. Its just as well you have a wardrobe to go on hols .

Hi Becky This is why I don’t buy from yours. Terrible products and expensive . They cannot finish off products properly. You are young yes and want cheap is clothes but if you want quality you have to up your standards as it does you will get the quality in them. If you are wise you will stick to cotton or linen. As the heat in Greece will be hotter than Uk. Or you could try new look. Or better still find a dressmaker to make your clothes.

I don’t think it’s fair to say that plus size people who wear polyester and not cotton must “douse themselves in anti perspirant” based off your experiences. The only time I’ve been overly sweaty in polyester is school trousers. It just came accords as rude with the whole “you do you babe” maybe it’s all that people can afford 🫶🏼

It’s not just a plus size issue, anyone who wears polyester is more likely to sweat due to fabric not being breathable. Cotton/linen is available in many affordable shops for their regular range - I’m just calling out that plus size ranges are often made of man made materials and there’s many reasons why that’s not great. But you do you babe.

Polyester is not breathable. I live in Malta and no way will I wear Polyester in Summer. Unfortunately Yours uses a lot of polyester 😢

​@BeckyReynolds I'm absolutely with you on this, Becky. I've been looking for viscose/cotton fabric dresses. A few years ago it was easy to find plenty of cute print dresses in woven viscose (which although man-made, is a cellulosic fabric and behaves more like cotton). Now most of the dresses I see at Yours and other online catalogues (I'm disabled and don't go out shopping anymore) are polyester! I only ever wore polyester when I was a skinny girl. The fact is polyester is cheaper than cotton and easier to cut and sew than viscose is. But Becky you should be looking for the fabric type before you order (to save your time and disappointment). Just check in the details of the garment before you order. It's the first thing I do before I get a chance to fall in love with anything. Sadly in the last few years it's been polyester dress after polyester dress. It's so bad I'm considering making my own dresses again (and although I'm capable of sewing, I don't find it fun). I have a size 10 (Australian sizing) sister, who has always been unable to wear anything other than natural fabrics. She just sweats so heavily in those materials and has said that it actually makes her feel ill, no matter how much deodorant she wears. Going through menopause is also an issue no matter what your size is. I’m an Aussie size 12 and in summer it’s linen and cotton only, the hot flush while wearing polyester etc., is left with nowhere to go and it’s made me feel sick myself, as the flushes can be so intense. I don’t know if that is typical or just a strange family reaction that we have to man made fibres.
