Bayle is not a dragon, he’s a drake. Those “dragons” you been fighting in base game are also drakes. They lack the physical and magical prowess to be dragons but their heart that they drop are still dragons hearts because of the stone imbedded into their hearts. These stone are the only thing close to a dragon, which is why we are told they are sacrificed to the actually dragon. lol a bit of dragons/drake lore

@@cocorosh7295midir in dark souls 3 had the same problem. You were fighting the camera more than the boss with lockon but without it was one of the most fun bosses in the game. Same here, bayle is peak.

I like how rage fighting all the bosses so those who havnt got the dlc yet still get the full experience

people just dont get the fact that u really dont have to lock on to big bosses lmao i never locked on for this fight and it was amazing

⁠@@user-vg6bv3fp9yrage played Elden ring way before Kai. He played it shortly after it got released get your fax straight. Only thing that is accurate is that Kai brought a lot of momentum back to the game so he jumped back on it but he probably would’ve played the dlc anyways
