I am a disabled veteran of 22 years of military service. In July I suffered an accident I severely damaged my back….. it was bad… I was hospitalized for the injury. It changed my life. I have never played video games before in my life, and now after this life changing event I have plenty of time to sit in bed and play video games so this morning I dropped 1500 dollars for an Xbox series x, elite controller, cooling systems, several games, the whole gambit. I don’t even know if I’m going to like playing video games, it’s got to be better than getting depressed watching the news in pain all day. Wish me luck.

I did. Series X only gives you 1TB internal storage. That and you don’t need to move games back and forth, launch them right off the expansion storage. I bought a 1TB SSD expansion midway in, ended up not needing it, but made sure it was working. I was waiting/saving up for a 2TB, anyway, which I now have and is in use, not a lot of games, small 1s until I know when the internal won’t install anymore.

@@theclasherjon Not sure what you mean. But as I explained games will run either installed on XBox Series X internal SSD or the expansion cards because they’re the same architect/technology in the XBox itself. The official SeaGate 1s are the closest to it.

@@DaveGX i try to explain it again as good as a can with my english haha its not the best haha I mean i got a ssd from segeat not the little one that you can plug in in the back pf the console the problem with this segeat ssd is that i can download all games on it but i cant play the xs games with it it cant open it so i need to transfer them to the internal xbox storage so that i can play them With the original one you can open this games cause the xbox sees it as a internal storage and not as a another one yk what i mean sry haha😂 I can only open the normal games with the Storage and not the xs ones

I wouldn't mind having option to get adaptive trigger pad similar to dual sense.

@@deiradinn they're not referencing hair trigger pull lengths, which has been included since the 1st elite controller, they're talking about the PS5 controller's adaptive triggers that change based on the gameplay senario

Xbox - for all Multiplatform games Ps5 - for exclusive games Switch - Zelda and Mario Overall, I love all of my console above!!

Rechargable battery, a good TV (Optional) & the Xbox wireless headset are all Ive needed. I use a HDD for non XSX games.

i still use my Sony WH1000M3 headset to play, mainly because of the headphones noise-cancelling. Can someone suggest a an equivalent or better headset that has great noise cancelling (headphones noise cancelling not mic). Thank you!

Im planning on getting an Xbox soon in order to play starfield. I'm thinking about playing on my laptop when I don't have access to the TV. Can Xbox fans tell how well remote play works? I expect a dip in resolution but is it stable? Does the x run remote play better than the s? I guess I don't mind playing docked hdmi either

If you have a good internet connection on your xbox and the device you're streaming to, than it's fine. If you really want to optimize it, than have both connected via a wire, preferably to the same network switch/router. Having said that, my xbox (series x) is connected via WiFi, about a meter from the router and for me that works fine, as long as the device I am streaming to, usually my phone, also has a good connection. As for resolution, you shouldn't be expecting 4k using remote play, but with a good connection you will get 1080p just fine. As for the s vs x, I don't think it matters, seeing as the xbox one can also run remote play. A friend of mine is actually using remote play, until he gets his new monitor and he's not complaining. Hope this helps!

I love remote play. It works great at home with 1G internet. I use remote play when on holiday on my phone. Most hotel internet is good enough for stable-ish gameplay. If not, I turn my phone into a hotspot.

Wolverine V2 is awesome!!! That’s what i picked over the elite. The elite is trash! Doesn’t last at all! If you play regularly you’ll get a year out of one before issues. Haven’t had one issue with the razer! Love it!

Better off buying a Crucial x8 4tb for transfer storage

512GB and 1TB ain’t worth it. If you can help it, save up for 2TB expansion storage. You don’t have to move stuff back and forth for current gen games, they launch from wherever you installed them.

Some of my games are from last generation, even my digitals which are the main 1s In moved to the 2TB. 500GB just ain’t enough or even 1TB alone is n my Halo 5 XBox One was starting to get reasonably full. But yeah, X definitely has the horse power to handle the games whether disc or digital…..

A few decent games wouldn’t hurt.
