Your Window Cleaner doesn't want you to know this... Cleaning upstairs windows the EASY way!
Ғылым және технология
In this super quick video, I show you how you can make your windows open in a different way to allow you to clean them from INSIDE! You might already know how to do this, but I certainly didn't.. Hopefully this little trick will help you too! :)

Omfg!!! I have got the exact same type of windows and I've been trying to clean the bloody things from the inside....unsuccessfully! Thank you so much for tip about the little clip thingy, now I can clean these bastards without falling out of the sodding window. Cheers 🙂💛
Great video Kip 😎
Cheers for this
Top tip.
100% Thank You :)
You don't need to press the clip... once the window is opened to 90°the clip will disengage automatically then you slide it across with them nico hinges
Nice little window hack there! 😊
After having lived in Germany, I find the British windows very badly designed. Opening outwards can catch the wind/rain etc. Most German houses have windows that open inwards [tilt inwards with the top open a few inches- for ventilation, or open completely on one side so you can clean them]. My second floor windows have them here in England, why they didn't do it to the rest is beyond me [@previous owner]. They are due for a change so will incorporate the German way then.

pros and cons to both ways. e.g. opening inwards reduces the amount of usable space inside

@@BooyahBren But opening outwards = you can't clean them [depending on how they are set up] unless you hire someone [1st/2nd floor (rest of the world as America says the ground floor = 1st, so 2nd/3rd floor in AMerica] or get a ladder and then possibly injure yourself. Opening inwards [unless you are in a very very small room] takes up minimal space as you would not have furniture blocking the window. So a very lame statement.
My windows don't have that clip, but I can see the runners and I'm pondering as to how to release mine from it's present position....

Mine are the same. Identical window but no clip. It's quite frustrating haha.
Great video. Would you show us how you actually clean the windows in the next video please👍.

Bit specialist! 😂
Terrible system, you feel like the windows is broken. I have a silly system with this on once side and the other automatically creates that spaces for cleaning when open. So stupid.
Im stuck outisde of my house this is broken ive been outside for the last u hours

@@kiphakes I'm from germany, maybe my question was not clear enough. But i have never seen windows, where the glas is swinging to the outside. Here all windows open into the room. And i never thought, that could be different anywhere on the world.

Thanks for this fantastic and informative video. I used this trick recently to slide the window across to replace the old rubber seal on the upstairs windows. Made it a breeze 🫡
