The tip I can give to help with the days being so short is, go to settings and change day speed to relaxed.

The favorite food is individually based on a certain flavor combination. I had different Triceratops on my ranch. Their poppin is Crunchy. I had one trike that loved Apples (crunchy/juicy), but I had another one who loved garlic (crunchy/spicy). Once you find that particular dinosaur’s preferred combo, you can offer them any food that has that combo. So my apple trike would also love bell peppers, etc

i got a ultra rare Melanistic: Solid black Styracosaurus on my first day when i couldnt tame it, and it was my first time playing the game so i had no idea it was so rare plus i really wanted it

I love you for frontloading the video with that stamina tip oh my god, im on day 5 and have been trying to get my bearings on my own but its feeling increasingly like ill need to get some online help after all. Giving it a like!

What a wonderful video! Very relaxing, super informative and with lots of cute details. I especially liked how you didn't want to let go of the gallimimus, even if it was for a tutorial save. I'm the same way! I'm very careful about adopting a dino, because I could never let them go in my regular save.

Oh my god I never thought to put the crop farm in the pens with the dinos. In settings you can set the day to 'relaxed' which slows the in game day time.

@elementalgamer0732 Honestly, at first I thought I needed the crop farms inside the pens for the small dino helpers to work. HAHA. The game speed setting is a huge help yes!

Simple juicy poppin tutorial : talk to mari by gallimimus, reload valley by entering town or your farm, mari will be by the fire pit north of pebble plaza(right side) AT NIGHT. DAY TIME Mari will be in the rightside field after exiting ( left side entering) your farm. Talk to her and she will tell you to ask pippin for a juicy one. Go to town as early as day 2 to speak to pippin. Say the second chat option , “something else…” and her and colon whatever his name will have dialogue, now she is inspired to make new poppins, bring her a carrot to unlock the juicy poppins for purchase

Tip: ifmtou cant find poop in desert or forest biomes, remove a decoration for a second and revert the biome to ranch. It wont bother the dino and makes finding poop easier

i think there is a reason, see the game randomly generates a seed for a dino, which determines alot of things even its color. your just unlucky with your main save.

I tried doing the 'search for rares first, then reload the game" but it saved my progress when I had gone thru the forest loading screen 😭 I guess they patched away that amazing cheat

You can pick which save file you're going to load! Just choose the manual save from "load" option instead of clicking "continue". Hope that helps!

There are not 38 dinosaurs, there are 38 creatures. Not all of them are dinosaurs, like at 4:22 that is a postosuchus, which is not a dinosaur. There is also dimetrodon and pterosaurs which are not dinosaurs.
