I think this is very fitting because I'm also finally growing out some facial hair hehe. I don't like growing facial hair cause it makes me look quite old. I've got those premium Asian genetics so I've been able to grow a beard since I was 15 lmaoo. Let's see if I actually follow through with it over the course of the next month or so. It's only been a couple weeks and its already getting so big. I genuinely look 5 years older already. Chances are, I'm not gna like it and shave it off.
I also find it icky going out in public cause people are like "woah a big adult boss man" and I'm like hey I'm 21 and a lil stoopid don't make me feel so matured.
I also think it'll be fun to experiment with some facial hair because shaving is actually such a hassle. Especially with a dense beard, you can get cuts so easily and it basically regrows after like 12 hours.

Maybe there're different laws in different countries about this, but in my country if your boss says "stay with me for a couple of days or you're fired" there would be some criminal and civil lawsuits against him. Even saying "you're fired" as a joke on a regular basis is creating a hostile work environment. ... Doesn't change the fact that him taking charge of the situation and protecting his employee from a dangerous situation is hella sweet and makes my heart flutter for him.

If my manager or supervisor ever said anything like that diversity hire BS to me I would directly inform him he is out of line and March right over to HR to file a report if not submit my resignation. I don't care how much they messed up no halfway decent boss would say that sort of thing to an employee, and if any of your bosses treat you like that I highly recommend looking for alternate employment. I know that isn't always possible but verbal abuse is not, in any way, workplace appropriate.
