Yes absolutely 💯! That card specifically protects Eternal Souls and other spell/traps from destruction and changes his name to DM when on field and grave! That card in combo with eternal souls causes havoc!

It defies explanation how consistent it is, I just can't run gamma because it's literally always bricking up my hand.

Salad sanctuary is very sticky, it never ceases to impress itself on my opening hand!

there's a few people in my discord who said they like to watch the videos at work with low/no volume so i try to help them out. KZreads auto captions tend to make alot of mistakes especially when talking about yugioh cards and numbers.

My favorite “sticky” card is ocean dragon lord kairyu-shin. He brings out all his own protection spells, he has great effects, and once the engine is set up it can’t be stopped.

Duelist of Roses background music. That game was awkwardly fun and unique way of getting yugioh fix.

One of my favorite decks back when master duel came out was a water deck that abused so many nice xyz summons and crooked cook was one of my favorites. The only thing that people were playing back then that would beat me was tribrigade direct attacks. Good times.

I'm new to the channel but I'm a blue eyes player specifically in Master Duel and it makes me happy to see Jet Dragon on the list he's a very powerful card to the point if my opponent uses it i banish it when i get the chance, because i run it i know how bad it is to deal with.

The fact, that you talk about what someone can find on your channel made me subscribe. It's in my opinion awesome to know what I subscribe to, and now I know where to go, if I have a ratio question or something in this direction. :) I like your channel, keep it going! 👍

You can also out Crooked Cook and other towers with a card that tributes your opponent’s monsters for cost like Rikka Konkon or Lair of Darkness because they aren’t unaffected by other cards’ *costs*, only their effects.

If we're dividing all the placements into sections, then it probably earns its spot as the stickiest archetype.

Every EARTH Machine player knows that the stickiest card in that deck is teh goD DAMN ANCIENT GEAR BOXXXXXXXX

Someone summoned a draglubion with astral kuriboh against me in MD, and I had no outs for it. Luckily they did not know that and made a Zeus.

It only has battle protection which Is decent but has so many outs any deck with a basic toolbox can take care of.

I managed to counter Crooked Cook by using Albion the Sanctfire Dragon to summon a monster to the opponent’s side of the field which let me negate the effect and destroy the monster with my other cards. Crooked Cook is very good, maybe good enough to run cards that summon monsters to your opponent’s side of the field just to counter it

My guess for stickiest riddle question is frog the jam. My honourable mention is Labrynth Butler. Thanks Calculator.

He should have gotten an honorable mention for sure! Time Thief redoer was on of my first ever URs I got in Master Duel and pulled of so many clutch wins because of his constant pressure.

Side note, you could also out crooked cook with cards like karma cannon or herald of the abyss bc they affect the player. Great video. Where's SP though?

You could tech Snow into Lightsworns with a bunch of generic rank 4 Xyz monsters and have a lot of fun.

Red eyes dark dragoon deserves a spot

Love me some sticky cards, outgrinding the opponent is one of the funnest ways to win.

my fave back in the day was Strike Ninja. back in IOC while chaos turbo was the move, I'd play a long game with Tomato floaters, a small RotA engine, Spies and one or two other GKs, plus other darks like Dekoichi... being very conservative with my board presence and resources... over time, using bits of removal, trading for small amounts of advantage, etc... as the game simplifies, I bring out Strike Ninja. Let the enemy waste a ton of resources trying to destroy it... then when the time is right, flip RETURN FROM THE DIFFERENT DIMENSION bringing back all the darks i've banished to dodge with Ninja! OTK OUTTA NOWHERE BABY!!!

im a big fan of ninja cards. They were peak Kashtira counter when jioh would permentantly flip their cards facedown lol

Let's not ignore the paleozoic archetype (who are topping Regionals in both tcg and ocg right now, btw), where the traps all summon themselves from the graveyard as normal monsters (that are not traps) with a _lingering_ effect that they're immune to monster effects. The current goal of the deck is even to protect them from battle as well with cards like Waboku and Rise to Full Height to convert them into r2 Xyz monsters (and Zeus) and eventually break boards with powerful traps copied by transaction rollback

The beauty of this game is real! I completely forgot all about that archetype. I would say their whole archtype and all of their "spells" are sticky because they always come back.

Forgot Drill Warrior the stickiest card in Edison format. The modern equivalent would be Time Thief Redoer and S:P little knight.

No dragoon or psychic end punisher? Those cards often win matches by themselves because of how sticky they are

Psychic end punisher makes his cameo in the Towers Section, Dragoon I completely forgot to include (thats a good one!) he should be in probably the "standby phase king" section competing with Garunix and Destroyer

Does weather painter card considered to be sticky? sometimes my friend/opponent said something like "they coming back after using their effect?" Put that on top of their canvas effect which makes them able to dodge things like imperm, raigeki, nibiru, even evenly match to some degree. The canvas also give them good effect like non targeting monster bounce when battle, bounce spell/trap, etc. also they have multiple recurring omni negates

Ahh that is a good one. I should have put it in honorable mentions. The reason why I didnt mention is because the opponent can control when it comes back because it returns when they banish a card. So vs some decks it will stay in the GY but vs others it will be a very big nuisance indeed !

rhongomyniad is definitely the best. can't be kaiju'd / underworld goddess / piercing battle damage / etc. I guess thats why its banned.
