"I love CAMERAS, like a fat boy loves chocolate cake." - Mijonju! So good to see you. What a nice surprise to see you on Lok's channel. I loved your channel way back in the day. How is the quality of the lens rendering?

Wow, so great to see Mijonju again. He was like the second KZread chanel I subscribed to when I first started using KZread back in the good old days. Great to see him involved in lens production. This video was really a meeting between two photpgraphic legends. Great video Lok.

I recently bought one and received excellent service, first one was faulty but replacement was posted to me before they received the faulty one back. Received the new one and it is such great fun. It's a little soft wide open but I'm pretty sure the lens it is based on would of been exactly the same. I like to step it down to f8 and zone focus. It feels really good in the hand and is a perfect match for the ZF.

I'm a Canon guy but I nearly pulled the trigger on the Zfc just because I love the way it looks. This lens is a perfect complement to that camera.

Oh man, this reminds me of my beastly F3 and 35f2 I used to shoot with. The clatter of the mirror, and removable VF was so cool.

Hey Lok, I really like your wideos, it's got some 2012-2015 vibes to it and I really enjoy it. You're the reason why I know lots of camera outside of canon and sony world.Thank you!!

Great to see Mijonju on screen again. The Lomography guy and bar owner. Also great to see Lok presenting. Lately I have enjoyed his stuff a lot more than his collaborative work with Kai Wong which has lost the 'fun' content of the old DRTV days.

Voigtländer lenses are also very nice for the Zf or Zfc and they have native Z-Mount support.

My main lenses I use for the black Zfc I got cheap are the voigtlanders (D23/D35mm f1.2 and 50mm f1.0). They look great, and since they communicate with the bodies, even as manual lenses you get focus confirmation that works really well and be setup like focus trapping on the older DSLRs. These look great, but for the price it'd be nice to have that focus confirmation ability. I'm curious if you used that Neewer ETZ adaptor with the E mount version of these lenses if you would have full focus confirmation like other stacked adaptor options. If it does work, I'm tempted to buy a Zf as my main body for adapting vintage 35mm film lenses to have a native field of view on the lenses. Along with lenses like these, of course, I'll pay the cost to have a native-enough solution mount wise (the ETZ adaptor/flange difference is tiny compared to a vintage SLR flange distance).

Maybe Mijonju just wants to work on his own projects, but if I was Nikon Japan or Ricoh (or Leica) I would be offering Mijonju a bag of money to make Twitter/KZread videos in English/Japanese. Seems like an absolute no-brainer.

I love that we are now settling for "vintage looking" equipment. I will never get the "have to look cool" thing with cameras. Just get a camera and be good with it. Who cares what you look like?

I think a lot of people who used to use film cameras miss the style of old cameras - I mean a mechanical feel instead of focus by wire, and being able to see/adjust all the settings without having to go into pages of menus. Ergonomics and design are important, because you're more inclined to use a camera you like using, which means you get better by virtue of using it more. That's important in a creative field when you sometimes get demotivated through fear of not being good enough. Focus throw also varies by brand. Things like that really matter to some.

😂 I paired my ZF AND ZFC with a few Voightlander lens that are manual focus and have electrical connections that will allow you to give you focus conformation and F stop information.
