Great song, i saw it live at the Jack Johnson concert.
6 dislikes = 3 ex girlfriends and their 3 new men.
i heard a live version today on the radio the audience cheering him on made it even more amazing.
Well, I first heard him at a Jack Johnson concert... He just walked on stage with his guitar and played. He sounded AMAZING. This song is sooooo good live and for me, Mason Jennings just hits the spot :)

Love this song. Heard it live in Ann Arbor - Mason said he once had a guy come up to him saying "I'm your biggest fan" and asking for an autograph and... he was wearing a big gold chain. Gotta wonder if his name was Rodge.
Saw him on Conan too. He was awesome, somehow so authentic and soulful and funny. I had heard the name, but didn't really know who he was. I think I stuck around because he shares a name with 'ol Waylon. Now I have to check out more of Mason.

I'm thinking that was satire but I could never be sure. Anyway I'm not sure why I got shitted on with all the thumbs down. I like Mason Jennings a lot. But I think it's reasonable to say that the lyrics and wordplay and all that aren't really complex. I am not saying lyrics have to be or that it's better if they are at all, I am saying part of the charm of this song is it's simple funny/cutesy lines.
