The idea that Enide could’ve possibly known that Allie was related to Tabby and acted so kind to her all this time is really disturbing..

Cool detail about Enide's design, her skirt design is meant to resemble the shell of not just any snail, but a cone snail specifically. Cone snails possess venom hypothesized to be capable of killing several hundred people with one dose. Their beautiful patterning is tragically deceiving to those unfortunate enough to pick one up and get jabbed with their harpoon. Surely she couldn't be evil... surely.. clever design choice overall, though! (Also definitely look up cone snails, they're very beautiful.. when observed from a distance!) (also also, Enide's skirt appears to be modeled after the shell of Conus textile, or the textile cone snail. Her textile is meant to look like a "textile." lol)

So allie started dating clawdi even though she knew what happened to the father and kept that secret... I feel the guilt would have been too much

All this indie games are just "someone eats people" at this point, they are somehow still entertaining for their different art styles and storytelling, even for how over used the trope is

"What species are you... candy corn?" got me dead lmaooo

I like the subtle angsty Pincer to friendly Clawdi transition toward the end. But that last love letter right at the end was like an uppercut to the gut from the Hulk, even if I was halfway expecting it :(

I think there's still a subtle horror or at least sad element to the normal ending where they get together. Imagine Clawdi mourning her dad and Allie's just there knowing to herself that she couldve helped get justice but said nothing. That's forever looming over them.

The Clawdi being trans and using their name on female protags before transitioning is a mood

Naming your crab kid 'Pincer' is like naming a human child 'hand' lol

Damn. Forgot about Tabby until the ending. The fact that she left all those gifts behind means she never even held them with any sentimentality, despite gushing about how she likes to keep her gifts like a kid.

Clawdi’s lil crab claw pigtails are actually so cute and such a fun lil detail. It’s so amazing how games like this can create such endearing characters no matter the actual size of the cast or the length of the game.

I think it is pretty weird Enide would leave the chest in her basement, given how thorough she is with cleaning up the results of her cravings on one hand and how she claims the belongings of her past lovers mean much to her on the other side. So I like to think she probably left it intentionally for Allie to find, probably knowing that Tabby was her sister, as kind of a TWISTED reward for keeping her promise.

I'm picturing this whole story playing out with the real animals. Small crab and kitten fight while a snail chews the head off an adult crab. Kitten then arches back at snail as it approaches menacingly.
