They don't run used purchased stock through the police, and most pawn stores do a flat rate per game (say 1$ per xbox game) whereas certain rare titles can get more at Gamestops. With how angry he is, I guarantee he is withdrawing pissed he can't get more money. Also people when uncomfortable aren't even realizing they're misgendering someone.
