This song has a special place in my heart. I was born and brought up in a Catholic family in Texas and my boyfriend was born and brought up in a strict Hindu family back in India. He moved to the states for college around four years ago. We met in class and instantly fell for each other. The difference in our races created many obstacles for us. I kinda understand why his family won't accept you. They believe non-Hindu people aren't belong to the group (not in the same caste level). I was there once and my ex decided to leave me. His family threatened him to kick him out of the family which means he will not get any family properties and business. Since his family is fucking rich, he chose his family.
