Yes this my situation as I sitting at home earlier doing my reflection assignments my therapist gave me to do in regards to my relationship with my father this reading came right on time I was being parentified as a child doing responsibilities that I shouldn’t have been doing for a long time what my narcissistic father imbedded in my subconscious mind is that I’m supposed to constantly give and do for people. And I grew up as an adult to constantly give to other people but when I’m in need it’s not reciprocated that’s does nothing but compromise and depletes your energy creates lack of self worth and it lowers your self esteem

It's so hard. Each time I try to get up and do my best I can't find any path forward.

It was harder than hard. I had an inside voice tell me if he talks down to me one more time, I'm walking. It happened. It's going on 11 months and it's been very difficult to not go back. During that time of no contact, he did not reach out one time. That was hurtful. My self esteem and self worth and self respect is worth more than anything else that I can think of. Pray, manifest and meditate...time is important to get yourself straightened out. ❤

I have been guilty of putting everything and everyone before me for most all my life. It never worked out for me. I am past that.

I finally saw the light. He did not care as much as I did. If I stayed, it would have broke me. Also, there were more than two people in this relationship. I was deceiving myself thinking it was going to change.

Look hear, I was walking today with my kid, I said “ no, I’m not in survival mode!” I needed to go get groceries but not enough gas so I used my metro pass, my plan before I left the house switched by the time I got on the bus, I missed the one I left to catch by a fire truck blocking the stop and the bus kept going. Frustrating but didn’t kill my joy…I went an easier way, instead of avoiding the obvious, caught that same bus I missed going the opposite way and made it back in no time. I said that out loud like it was a key to my reality! It changed my entire mood, instantly!
