Ive been using the ZST (Not the ZST X) On the tube for about a month, they needed about a 4db shelf boost under 120hz, a 2db notch boost at around 300hz, and 2.5db at 500hz. Which brought the bass to something audible, and added some punchiness in the sound

Theres much much better options at this price in chifi nowadays.

​@@atypicalaudio try other models like the as24 or the as16 or the krilla instead of "salnotes" high quality sounds try newer models of it im sure for the price you getting with chi-fi iems trn,kz,qkz,moondrop,fiio,or mezes I'm sure your new to this hobby of iems

@@frejie thank for the reccs, but you missed the point here. We staying quality at 50 bucks and below, plus kz is has a small bit of sketch in their history (e.g. CRN) so its worth passing on

Well today these aren't great in the budget space, for 3 dollars more you can get the king of budget iems the chu 2 or for 3 bucks less the moondrop quarks also sounds a lot better but it's a bullet type iem instead of the hooking over your ear type iem

Sadly I always had bad luck with Moondrop IEMs. They don't last for more than a few months, I cannot replace the cables when they break, and then their paints/decals flake off.

If you guys have $100 i suggest sony mdr-ex800st. Probably some of the best earbuds ever made. American version is called mdr 7550 but theyre slightly more rare

I wouldn't say there is much noise canceling other than the fact of them plugging a bit more of your ear holes than over the ear headphones.

Try the kz pr1 pro...damn they are good

Hey I recently bought one of these and on my laptop it has sound but on my pc nothing comes out. I tried using a splitter but still no sound. Can someone help me

Hard to say for sure, could be something with your output settings or the port they are connected to? I use mine out of the headphone jack on my wave xlr.

How good are these for pc gaming? My head aches when i use overhead headphones

I use them exclusively for pc gaming and I’m personally a big fan of them. After a long time they can cause some soreness in the ear rather but overall I prefer them to over the ear headphones.

My headphones don't suck thank you very much (!) I have far too many lovely pairs of headphones thanks to lockdown and KZread...

@@joeljerome3698 The KZ AZ09 is the wireless upgrade for Kz iems, for KZ ZSN Pro you'd need the C Pin variant of the KZ AZ09.

you can buy a wireless accessory for the KZ brands. just be careful of where you buy them. Amazon's got some nasty flippers who mark up the price from 6$ to 30$ for the improved audio wire and does the same with all other accessory's.

Best wireless I've ever heard is b@w pi7 s2. But currently I use sennheiser ie900 powered by dragonfly cobalt.

don't buy from amazon when it comes to chifi products. Bought a cable that was 30$ on amazon for 6$ on a different website. sure it took alittle over half a month to get to me but I'll gladly wait a few more days to not pay 5x more

@@rammywarrior4033 i've byed it on official KZ shop. I'm ukrainian, so we don't use Amazon or any other US sites. Someone uses eBay, but it's difficult. And on 11.11 sell for 21 bucks i've byed 16 core gold plated upgrade cable and AZ09HD Bluetooth 5.2 upgrade. If i remember rightly, ZSTx - one armature and one dynamic driver. In time when ZAX worth about 20 bucks and have 7 armature and one dynamical bass driver.

I bet it cant beat my Sony WF-1000XM4

No. Go for 7hz sonus or cvj mei. That or the simgot ea500. Or the truthear hexa. Or go higher to the singot em6l or other hybrids in that range

I have a pair and they absolutely dont sound flat. Theyre bloated and screechy af But yeah, they dont sound good. Both objective and subjective.

If you think these are good, try the KZ ZS10 Pro’s … 5 driver per earbud… for $40-$50 I haven’t tried one better. I have a set of custom mold ultimate ears that I’ve stopped using because of the ZS10 Pro’s. I’m thinking of having customer molded silicon tips for the KZ’s but I don’t know. They’re already really comfortable and for the price of molds I could get 2 more sets of KZ’s so.. 🤷🏾‍♂️😂 I feel like a damn fool for having spent $500 on the ultimate ears, and the worst part is that I can’t sell them forward cause they won’t fit anyone, so I’m basically out $500. 🤷🏾‍♂️
